"Barbie" was the highest-grossing film of 2023, became a cultural phenomenon, and has now earned eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for America Ferrera, and Best Production Design for production designer Sarah Greenwood and set decorator Katie Spencer. The three of them were kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their experiences in making the film alongside Academy Award-nominated director and writer Greta Gerwig.
