Episode 12 "Most of the behavioral issues that we have are due to social media and technology." - Dr Keli, Guidance Counselor at Sweet Home High School
Thanks to at-home and hybrid learning, students are more reliant on technology than ever before. The pandemic forced many of us to interact solely online, preventing the chance for our kids to gain social skills in the real world.
Now that students are back in the classroom, it's up to the adults to reach out and form real connections with the youth and be that friend and confidant that can be trusted with potential thoughts of suicide or social anxiety.
