Dana & Cristina investigate the validity of the question – “Is weight a symptom?” from an integrative perspective, a functional medicine perspective, a traditional medicine perspective. They then dig into how to approach this conversation from a Whole-Hearted Eating perspective, using their clinical experience and their signature non-diet, HAES approach.



For our entire lives, we are drilled with the belief that weight is the cause of everything – our poor health, difficulty sleeping, snoring, stress, fatigue, happiness, our inability to find a partner, literally everything – so it makes complete sense, given that narrative, that most people look at weight as a SYMPTOM because it’s the PROBLEM that will fix it all. And that’s just not the case.
