Chris Caruana is today's Person of Interest with Triple M’s Flan, Ali and Spida. Chris is a former rugby league footballer who played for Sydney Bears then South Sydney Rabbitohs ending with 168 games.
Chris opens up about the end of his football career where he struggled “big time” with drugs. He said he had a lack of purpose and he fell into a hole. Saying “drugs was it, narcotics was it” saying he would spend $1500-$2000 a week on narcotics at the start of his addiction then it got worse and worse.
Chris says after a few years “it just rips your soul out, you start to lie, cheat” and then he became homeless.
