“I’m a big believer that it’s never too late in your life to do something that you’re really passionate about,” says Lili Foggle, Founder of Impressive Interviewing, “It’s also never too late to pivot.” After 12 years of studying acting, Lili blew an interview for a major audition with a Broadway actor. It was this experience that led Lili to redirect her career into the nonprofit sector and soon after, full-time motherhood. Eventually, at age 52, Lili pivoted once again. Using her failed interview experience, Lili founded Impressive Interviewing, where she teaches others the skills they need to crush interviews and land their dream jobs.

Not wanting to invest a lot of time and money into her business, Lili started a simple website and later, despite initial apprehension, began posting on TikTok. To her surprise, she soon gained a loyal and enthusiastic following because she has carved her own niche, stayed authentic to her voice, and only posted when she has something valuable to say. Today she boasts over 52K followers. 

No matter your age, it is never too late to start a new project or business you are passionate about, and having a diverse background is no reason to hold yourself back.
