JeffJeff's Bizarre Adventure

These two episodes are heavy-- in more ways than one. Just how far is Kira willing to go to get a good night's sleep? And can Echoes' next Act prove to been even less useful than Act 2? [podcast covers anime episodes 23: "Sheer Heart Attack, Part 1" and 24: "Sheer Heart Attack, Part 2"]

The town's secret killer is finally revealed to be Kira, who's basically the Patrick Bateman of Morioh. Let's see just how hard it is to steal a sandwich in these two phenomenal episodes. This week's episode is all about forgiveness. Like in the way we can apparently forgive Yukako for trying to gruesomely murder Koichi. Guess we all forgot about that? Plus, the forehead-slap-inducing conclusion to the Shigechi drama. [podcast covers anime episodes 19: "Yukako Yamagishi Dreams of Cinderella" and 20: "Shigechi's Harvest, Part 1"]

So I guess Rohan is like, in this show now? He and Koichi spend an entire episode hanging out with a ghost in an alleyway that doesn't exist on the map of Morioh. Then it's time to meet Shigechi, a little dude with a stand that summons dozens of beetles that harvest change and coupons. Just a regular week here on the podcast! [podcast covers anime episodes 17: "Rohan Kishibe's Adventure" and 18: "Shigechi's Harvest, Part 1"]

It's time for the best fountain pen fighting action we've ever seen! Plus, an inexplicable hair story!  And if you're hungry for more, good. Actually, maybe "hungry" is the wrong word for the gang's encounter with Bug-Eaten. [podcast covers anime episodes 15: "We Picked Up Something Crazy!" and 16: "Let's Go Hunting!"]

After inexplicably recovering the bow and arrow, Josuke and the crew have met their next match, a guy who loves paper! Also, why is it that everyone who faces the gang in Morioh turns small after being defeated? You ever think about that? [podcast covers anime episodes 13: "We Picked Up Something Crazy!" and 14: "Let's Go to the Manga Artist's House, Part 1"]

Red Hot Chili Pepper. Perhaps not the most airtight stories of Morioh stands, but we celebrate his legacy nevertheless. Tune in as the gang analyzes the death of Electric Big Bird and witnesses an incredible waste of a guitar. [podcast covers anime episodes 11: "Red Hot Chili Pepper, Part 1" and 12: "Red Hot Chili Pepper, Part 2"]

This week we're wrapping up Koichi's kidnapping and taking a break at what's likely the most unhinged restuarant in Morioh. [podcast covers anime episodes 09: "Yukako Yamagishi Falls in Love, Part 2" and 10: "Let's Go Eat Some Italian Food"]

Folks, we've officially entered the hair-horror arc of Diamond is Unbreakable, and we are absolutely here for it. [podcast covers anime episodes 07: "Toshikazu Hazamada (Surface)" and 08: "Yukako Yamagishi Falls in Love, Part 1"]

Finally, we're gonna find out what's in Koichi's egg. Ugh, that really sounds gross when you say it loud. [podcast covers anime episodes 05: "The Nijimura Brothers, Part 3" and 06: "Koichi Hirose (Echoes) / Koichi Hirose (Reverb)"]
