Micki spent the better part of 3 decades as a dedicated Jehovah's Witness but what she experienced during that time was both horrific and infuriating. Many classic cult tactics are tightly woven in the fabric of the Jehovah's Witness culture and Micki does a phenomenal job unpacking and clearly explaining just how manipulative and cohesive it is towards members.

Since leaving the religion a few years ago, Micki has been an outspoken advocate against the harmful practices of the JW's which is incredibly MEANINGFUL work yet it receives a ton of backlash and hate from active group members.
