  • Anchors - Basics to Advanced - NLP
Anchoring is an unquestionably an invisible NLP tool for your toolset because when you install an anchor in another person, if they are aware you’re installing the anchor, it will be much less effective or downright simply not work!
First I’ll describe how to install an anchor, briefly, and then break down the five steps. Setting an anchor is all about timing and actually that’s all anchor setting really is: precise observation + precise timing + setting an action trigger. If you spot someone in a peak state, which you often have to provoke or activate/elicit, you calibrate to understand and read the person to know when they’re really in that emotional success state and using that calibration or “reading”, you install the anchor at the zenith of that emotional breakthrough of achievement. Note, this person could easily be you; skilled NLP practitioners can set constructive, useful, and resourceful anchors on themselves! If installed correctly, you can trigger the anchor to reactivate that clear and aligning resourceful state whenever you want. Finally, you check out to make sure that the anchor will “work”. In the upcoming sections I give a bunch of scenarios of these steps including future-scoping, which is testing to see if the anchor will “work”, Occasionally future-scoping is referred to as future-pacing. Here’s the breakdown of the steps.
ACITF is the acronym to remember the five phases of installing an anchor in yourself or another.
    1. Activating (Eliciting) the state
    2. Calibrating it
    3. Installing (setting) the anchor
    4. Testing anchor
    5. Future-scoping (or future-pacing) the anchor.
    Keep in Mind:
    • Do you have more positive or negative anchors?
    • Do your anchors make combination chains that alter your state?
    • Which representational system are you most aware of in your anchors and what might this tell you about what you pay attention to in different parts of your life?

The Emotional Effects of Coronavirus Lockdown
We’ve washed our hands more in the past month than any given year of our lives. We’re all stuck at home eating canned soups and canned vegetables. Oddly, this feels doubly vexing if we AREN’T sick! Why? Because you’re only supposed to be stuck at home burning through can after can of soup when you ARE sick! Now, naturally, covid is serious as any pandemic is. But what are the emotional consequences from social distancing and isolation? How will this pandemic effect the “Future Earth” emotionally?
Now, we MUST social distance. That’s imperative. That is the bonafide tried and true method f ceasing the spread, of flattening the curve of infection. It’s brute force. It’s tough. It’s unpleasant, but it’s effective. There is a rough estimate that coronovirus will kill, yes, as in fatalaties, over 100,000 Americans. And that’s just one country. So the lock-downs are practical, but they need not lead to dangerous emotional ramifications of isolation.
Everyone has talked about how telecommunications and namely the internet has brought our planet closer together. Indeed, it has. So utilize video conferencing, email, txts, social media, and telecommunications. Staying connected with your friends and family without physical proximity is very doable given the near limitless nature of technology.
What’s ultimate cure to covid isolation? It sounds like the panacea prescription to any international predicament, but…….it’s love, mates. Specifically e-love, given the social lock-down quagmire we’re all in. Time to utilize the e-waves to connect with each other even more. But more importantly, you can utilize the technology of neuro-linguistic porgramming (or NLP) timelines to manage your time in a way that mitigates boredom, overwhelm, and isolation.
NLP Timelines are composed f two modes: in-time and through-time. In-Time and Through-Time are two very distinct ways of creating perspective, having cognizance, and interacting with the texture of your time. The distinctions between each are subtle, but decidedly profound. Integrating the In-Time/Through-Time distinctions into your life makes planning, scheduling, calendaring, and structuring future time just glow; in-time/through-time distinctions are an invaluable tool. In a way, in-time/through-time distinctions allows you to rotate and kind of disassemble and then re-observe and access time differently.
So you can now use your cognizance of these two NLP tools to structure your time during lockdown. We have a lot of free time on hands, but one of the problems of lockdown is the longevity of it is a variable; we don’t know how long it will last. The sentient ambiguity of that causes restlessness. Therefore, whenever you get the next lockdown update, simply swivel into through-time to plan out your schedule, and when you’re enjoying a favorite film, be sure you connect with it via in-time mode!
If you would like to learn more of the magic of neuro-linguistic programming (or NLP) tune into nlptrainingseries.com to stay tuned to lessons I’ve published and to get news about my upcoming book release of NLP For the Win: The Invaluable Manager and Life Coach Manual.

  • How Covid Will Lead to World Government

Because of Covid-19, world government, also known as cosmocracy, will happen sooner than we think. Transhumanist futurist, Ray Kurzweil, predicts world government by 2020. We’re globally in this one together. This isn’t a world war betwixt each other, either. We’re uniting against an alien virus invasion. Because it has remained dormant between non-human speciesfor ages, the zoonotic virus, Covid ,is not exactly an alien infection, but it will lead to greater social, economic, and political unity between nations.
I am not talking about a global dictatorship. I am talking about the people of Earth uniting internationally. Countries are just terrain with political boundaries. I’ve traveled to 20 countries and 5 continents; I know this! There’s different geology and ecology in that terrain but politics merely fragment humans, manufacturing the illusion that we are all disparate, insular countries. Yes, there exists different human ideals, values, and cultures, but those will remain preserved. By removing that shroud pandemic is a wake up call to us as a species that we really should be unified.
Great thinkers from presidents to poets believe cosmocracy is the way to go. When 14th century Italian poet Dante Alighieri wrote his famous “Divine Comedy”, it became known as the most significant poem from the entire Middle ages. It’s also considered to be the most significant literary work of the entire Italian language. Dante was big in his time and continues to remain highly significant at present day. From his De Monarchia, here’s what he says about world government:
“O human race! What tempests must need toss thee, what treasure be thrown into the sea, what shipwrecks must be endured, so long as thou, like a beast of many heads, strivest after diverse ends! Thou art sick in either intellect, and sick likewise in thy affection. Thou healst not thy high understanding by argument irrefutable, nor thy lower by the countenance of experience. Nor dost thou heal thy affection by the sweetness of divine persuasion, when the voice of the Holy Spirit breathes upon thee, ‘Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!’”
Like Dante, the views of the 18thpresident of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant, may not be exactly modern, but his opinions on world government are less than a century and a half old. He propounded the following: “I am convinced that the Great Framer of the World will so develop it that it becomes one nation, so that armies and navies are no longer necessary”. Already the United Nations has urged a nationwide ceasefire in Syria to channel all efforts to combatting Covid-19. We are beginning to see that maybe former president Grant’s premonition is more correct than we realize after all and that we will not need armies and navies to battle and defend ourselves from each other.
The United Nations will expand to a world government. The UN’s mission is to maintain cooperation, international peace, security, and friendly relations between nations. At the time of its founding in 1945, the UN had roughly a quarter of the world’s nations as member states. A half a century later, it encompasses practically every soveriegn nation on the planet. Give it time. Although it was just a riddle game in J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”, time is the ultimate leveler. Tolkien wrote: “The thing all things devours; Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats mountain down.” The answer to the riddle is Time. Time was what was needed for the United Nations to acquire cooperation from nearly every country.
