Natalie shared an update on her blog, highlighting Jason's progress in his recovery. She revealed that Jason is now off all pain and nausea medication and only takes one prescription. Although he is still struggling with the lack of taste in his food, he is slowly getting some taste back after the first four or five bites. Natalie also shared some exciting non-medical news, stating that they went to a restaurant for the first time since February 12th and watched a movie at the theater for the first time since before the pandemic. Jason has been walking to build strength, and they have even had visitors, which was a nice change. They are re-establishing their routine and finding normalcy, which feels great. Natalie expressed gratitude towards God for answering prayers and continuing to bless them daily. However, she also shared that she had been feeling reflective and sad as they left New York and struggled with depression and feeling unbalanced when they returned home due to being out of their routine.
