  • JFS073: Waterhole #3 (1967)

Well, we've finally done it. We've found a cowboy picture that is "shockingly offensive" according to at least 100% of your Junk Food Supper hosts. But can it also have some charms? Listen to our review of the potentially very misguided but perhaps still entertaining Waterhole #3, starring James Coburn (from 1967).

Also! We chat about wrestling and get wistful about the guest host who could have been.

So #DonloydNow and enjoy this bite-sized Junk Food Supper. We got all this plus a music league update, Parker Bowman's union-busting ways, dipping your hands into hot caramel, the AEW Revolution 2025 rundown, secret downtown Los Angeles parking tips, someone looks like a gastropub-man, the french fry wars, tuneful ditties, sneezes, blank stares, gleeks and so much more!!

  • JFS072: High Noon (1952)
Your boys are back with a classic old timey western this week.

First up, Sean and Parker rank (canonically and objectively) the last 10 movies watched for the show. What will come out in the top spot and how many movies are tied for worst?

We also have discuss shocking wrestling revelations, go on politcal rants, get some voicemails, read an actual e-mail and so much more.

Then we discuss the award-winning classic, "High Noon" from 1952. Fred Zinnemann's classic recontextualizes the white hate/black hat norms of the western genre and does so in real time! It stars Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly and lots of other cool people.

  • JFS071: Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978)

Did y'all grow up on old-ass TV shows, some of which featured a crew of shipwrecked pals? Well, then - just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful Rescue From Gilligan's Island (the 1978 TV movie!). Because that's what we're reviewing this week on Junk Food Supper!

Also! We have a very special, somewhat lewd segment at the top of the show.

So #DonloydNow and enjoy this bite-sized Junk Food Supper. We got all this plus a music league update, Parker's struggles with dialing a "1" for local calls, Parker tries to Stop the Steal, Kevin's bag-packery, George Romero takes the blame, True Detective Season Two: Discussed (briefly), the Speed Racer debacle's impact continues to ripple through our universe, the line between videogames and movies: what does it even mean anymore?, a completely inappropriate segment inspired by none other than Kyle from Kentucky, tuneful ditties, sneezes, blank stares, gleeks and so much more!!

  • JFD684: The Terrornauts, Speed Racer, Depraved
JFD returns this month as we celebrate Sci-Fi-ebruary with a trio of science fiction films that couldn't be more different from one another!
Up first, a group of scientists listening for signals from outer space are teleported to a distant world where they must solve riddles and avoid being sacrificed by savage aliens in
Amicus Productions' attempt to get into the sci-fi genre, The Terrornauts from 1967.
Next, The Wachowskis (who brought you The Matrix) bring the classic cartoon Speed Racer to the big screen in a colorful, fast-paced, live-action film from 2008 starring Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon and Matthew Fox.
Finally, Larry Fessenden tells a modern-day Frankenstein story in 2019's Depraved about a military doctor who creates life from the remains of the dead and faces the moral implications that go along with it.
All this plus Valentine's Day chat, porno drive-in talk, Kevin's review of The Monkey, Parker's thoughts on Companion, Joe Bob gets reprinted, Wal-Mart vs zombies, what could be next for optical discs and so much more!

  • JFS070: Cade: The Tortured Crossing (2023)

    We're back with a Sci-Fi-Ebruary classic!

Parker fucked up and we're not doing "Twisted Pair," like he said last week. We're doing it's sequel, "Cade: The Tortured Crossing." Sorry for the mix up but if you need a review of "Twisted Pair," we did one on JFD553!.

But this week, Sean and Parker dive into "Tortured Crossing," Neil Breen's sequel wherein a superheroic philanthropist with AI implants and an evil twin helps a mental hospital full of homeless people overthrow the government and big corporations. We think.

Before that, we have a March Movie Preview with a surprising amount of interesting movies on the list. Also, is Sean cheating in Music League? Did he betray Parker? And we announce a new contest where Kevin will come to your hospital and nurse you back to health!

  • JFS069: Loose Cannons (1990)

Is it still Happy Nude Year? Well, as this year goes on, we're clinging onto happiness any way we can. And hopefully we'll get some cheer from the pornography-themed Dom Deluise vehicle Loose Cannons (from 1990, and co-starring the actual lead actors Gene Hackman and Dan Aykroyd).

Also! We discuss all of the important movies coming out in February. Every last one of them, or your money back.

So #DonloydNow and enjoy this bite-sized Junk Food Supper. We got all this plus a music league update, Twist and Shout at quarter speed, a Royal Rumble Report, Parker indulges in "Call Me Kevin" and other Gen-Z YouTubers, do we even know what Hot Ones is?, Parker's boots-on-the-ground cinema reportage, Sean's unbridled enthusiasm for Marvel movies, a surprising twist regarding the upcoming thriller "Cold Wallet", our struggles to draw comic books (contrasted with listener Wil's peerless output), our official invitation for you to butt-dial us at your leisure, cop buddy comedies vs buddy cop comedies, prog rock Ebert, sneezes, blank stares, gleeks and so much more!!

  • JFS068: The Cowboy & the Frenchman (1988) / "Mope" interview w/ Lucas Heyne

We're back this week with a huge episode!

First, Sean and Parker are joined by friend Justin Wiese of Outer Cinema to discuss our Top 5 favorite first-time watches of 2024.

Then we mix things up and Parker is joined by Jackson Stewart (director of Beyond the Gates) and Lucas Heyne to discuss his movie, "Mope." We reviewed "Mope" a couple of episodes ago and Lucas was nice enough to join us to discuss the crazy true story behind the movie, what it's like to attend a bukkakke session and so much more.
Then, we celebrate the work of our man, David Lynch, by reviewing his short film, "The Cowboy and the Frenchman!"

All this plus Dom Deluise Chat, plausible deniability and so much more!

  • JFD683: Let My Puppets Come, 800 Fantasy Lane, Pink Cut: Love Me Hard, Love Me Deep
JFD kicks off 2025 by running down our top 5 favorite movies of the previous year (as well as our most hated). Additionally, we continue our Happy Nude Year tradition of watching three dirty flicks to kick off this dirty-ass year.
Up first, Gerard Damiano, the man behind some of the 70's biggest porno flicks, decided what the world was really looking for was a porno with a (mostly) puppet cast. Hence, we have the truly unique and very strange Let My Puppets Come from 1976.
Then, we get a rare 70's porno directed by an actual female (Svetlana Mischoff), 800 Fantasy Lane from 1979 starring Jamie Gillis who poses as a potential real estate investor to infiltrate a company of sexy and seductive real estate agents.
And finally, we visit a Japanese barber shop where there's more than haircuts on the menu in Pink Cut: Love Me Hard, Love Me Deep from 1983.
All this plus we pay our respects to David Lynch (R.I.P), check in on the state of California, dinosaur chat, Wolf Man hate and so much more!

  • JFS067: Knockouts (1992)

Happy Nude Year celebrations continue, as Sean returns from abroad with some broad comedy in the form of Knockouts! You know, that famed 1992 titty-flick comedy from John T. Bone, legendary hardcore porno director? No? Well, maybe we can help build that legendy.

Also! We discuss recent events in the worlds of our cohosts, including travel agendas, fire avoidance, illness, panic, mania, and gluttony.

So #DonloydNow and enjoy this bite-sized Junk Food Supper. We got all this plus Los Angeles is ablaze, smoking in Japanese glass boxes, the rigorous protocols of subway stairwells, a poster blowout in Japan, 1953's least comfortable rollercoaster experience, scared by a Josuha Tree, sneezes, blank stares, gleeks and so much more!!
