Keanu Believe It

In honor of the 50th episode of our all Keanu Reeves podcast, we’re happy to present a very special installment to you, our loyal listeners. First up is a discussion on the second chapter in the Baba Yaga saga, John Wick Chapter 2, with Diego Crespo (@thediegocrespo) where he and Sam (@samshotfirst) dive deep into the sequel that is as complex as it is badass. Then, Sam is joined by very special guest Derek Kolstad. The John Wick screenwriter talks about how Keanu is an ideal storytelling partner and about the process of creating the fascinating world of these films. We hope you enjoy and, as always, thanks for listening!

In this episode of our all Keanu Reeves podcast, Sam (@samshotfirst) welcomes guest Michele Eggen (@micheleneggen) and they discuss the strange post-apocalyptic film, The Bad Batch. Funnily enough, this podcast, which treats Keanu like an idol discusses the film which has him playing a cult leader. It’s yet another interesting turn in Keanu’s career, that’s for sure.

In this episode of our all Keanu podcast, Sam (@samshotfirst) welcomes guest Pablo Hurtado (@ImPABLO_i_WRITE) to discuss The Whole Truth, the legal drama starring Keanu, Renée Zellweger, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and, of course, Jim Belushi. Case dismissed!

Keanu Reeves has had a fair amount of small roles throughout his career, but few are as small or as memorable as his turn in Nicolas Winding-Refn’s The Neon Demon. In this episode of our all Keanu podcast Sam (@samshotfirst) welcomes Jamie Righetti (@JamieRighetti) to discuss the complex and divisive horror film from the equally divisive auteur which features an impressively sleazy performance from Keanu that is hard to shake.

The subject of the latest episode of this podcast devoted to Keanu Reeves is two movies in one, the problem is that neither one is very good. It’s a surreal psychological drama, with a boring police procedural forced in by the studio, which results in a well-meaning mess of a film. Sam (@samshotfirst) and his returning guest MJ Smith (@MJSmith891) try to make sense of this confused movie which is easier said than done.

What happens when the host of a podcast seriously dislikes the subject of the episode and the guest loves it? You get a very interesting conversation is what happens! On this installment of our all Keanu Reeves podcast, Sam (@samshotfirst) welcomes back Marcus Irving (@MarcusIrving317) to discuss the Eli Roth thriller Knock Knock. While Sam and Marcus don’t agree on much when it comes to the film, one thing they share is the belief that whatever Keanu is doing here can’t be missed!
