On October 23, 1989 Carol DiMaiti Stuart was heading home from a childbirth class in Boston with her husband Charles Stuart.  Within minutes Charles said that the two had been robbed and shot by a black man.  Carol had been shot in the head and Charles in the stomach.  As the police tried to find the man that did this, the story Charles told started to unravel.  After Carol and her baby Christopher died, people began to realize that not everything was as it seemed.

In January of 2024, the Los Angeles Innocence Project announced that they would be taking on Scott Peterson’s case.  This episode will go over why the Los Angeles Innocence Project believes that Scott Peterson is innocent and will look at the evidence that they want to look into. The LAIP put forth over 1,000 pages of documentation as to the evidence they want access to, new evidence they believe they have and thourough information as to why this evidence could ultimately lead to proving Scott Peterson is innocent.

Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his pregnant wife Laci Peterson in 2002 as well as his unborn son, Conner. 

What does this mean and will it be enough for Scott Peterson to get a new trial?

In an old, abandoned castle in County Carlow, Ireland, whispers fill the halls. Strange lights are seen moving throughout the property by people in town, and the wails of a woman frighten those nearby, wondering if she is a banshee coming to fortell of an impending death.

Duckett's Grove was first built in the 1700s and over the years in became an ornate, beautiful castle.  For centuries it dominated the local landscape until a fire destroyed the property in 1933.

Despite this, or maybe because of it, many people think that there was a curse placed on the family that lived in the castle.  

Is it true that ghosts roam the hallways?  Is there really a curse?  What happened when paranormal investigators visited Duckett's Grove?

After a 28-year-old woman named Kitty Genovese was murdered, newspaper articles claimed that there were 38 witnesses to the crime, and not one of them did a thing to help her.  This happened in 1964 and after, social psychologists started to study what is called the Bystander effect.  The Bystander Effect describes a person witnessing a negative situation and it is said that the more people that witness this, the less likely anyone is to help.

But is this true?  And what other information has come out of studying this psychology theory?

This episode will discuss what the bystander effect is, different types of bystander effects, experiments that have been done to test it and true crimes that have been witnessed by others that didn’t help out.

Every four years one extra day is added to the calendar in February. The shortest month of the year becomes one day longer with February 29 becoming leap year. Why do we do this? There are a few reasons stemming from long ago, including trying to make sure that the calendar stays in line with the earth's rotation around the sun and the seasons. 

Some countries consider Leap Years to be lucky while others believe the opposite. There are strange superstitions that surround this day as well, like women being encouraged to propose to their love.

Those born on Leap Day only have their true birthday every four years, so are they really much younger than everyone else? 

What do you think about Leap Day? Just another day on the calendar or something more?

Logan Schiendelman was 19 years old when he went missing.  Logan lived in Tumwater, Washington and lived with his grandmother.  The last time his grandmother saw him, she said that he was acting nervous.  He then told her he had an epiphany, but he didn’t share what it was.  

Logan’s car was found abandoned in the middle of the highway, with his cell phone, license, wallet and cash inside.  Despite numerous search efforts, Logan had not been found and what happened to him remains a mystery. 

There are a lot of theories about what happened to Logan.  On top of that, there has been a lot of conflicting information that has been shared by those close to Logan over the years that makes this case even more bizarre.

Are Twinflames toxic or not?

Twinflames are a type of soulmate connection that is described as the most intense of all connections.  A twinflame is two people that share the same soul, each having one half and being destined to belong together.

This episode will discuss what a twinflame is as well as the history of twinflames.  It will also talk about how to know if you’ve found your twin flame, the different stages in a twinflame relationship and whether or not these things are unhealthy or accurate.

Also discussed will be Twinflames Universe, which is thought to be a cult by many.  A documentary was made about it being a cult in 2023. The documentary is called Escaping Twin Flames and looks into the possible dangers perputuated by the leaders Jeff and Shaelia.  Many think that those who believe in twinflames are manipulated by this organization and encouraged to participate in unhealthy practices.  Jeff and Shaelia disagree with this and this episode will also look into their opinion on being referred to as a cult.  

Ultimately I want to dive deeper into pop culture’s take on twinflames and the mentality that currently surrounds what can be a beautiful connection with another person.

On February 14, 2000, teenage couple Stephanie Hart-Grizzell and Nick Kunselman were shot and killed at a Subway in Littleton, Colorado.  The two were said to be completely in love and inseparable.  

Nick had recently gotten a job at a Subway and Stephanie was visiting with him to help him close and give him a ride home.  The two were only 15 and 16 years old and nobody could figure out why anybody would want to hurt these kind, peaceful kids.  

The murder happened only 10 months after the Columbine School Shooting, in the same town.  Both Nick and Stephanie attended Columbine High School and survived the day of the shootings, only to die by gun violence less than a year later.

Despite this case getting national attention, the question still remains.  Who killed Stephanie and Nick Kunselman on Valentine’s Day?
