In 1818, Frankenstein was published by Mary Shelley.  The classic gothic novel is still popular today and Shelley said that she was inspired to write it after having a bit of a ghost story writing challenge with her peers. 

There are many questions that surround what inspired this book and the woman behind writing it, that still go unanswered today.  This episode will discuss the creation of this book and the monster it cemented into society.  It will also talk about the writer herself and the unusual circumstances that took place while she wrote what is considered the first science fiction novel.

Halloween Murders

Halloween can be the scariest night of the entire year, and unfortunately, there are cases of people who have been murdered on Halloween. 

Today I will be sharing two different cases of two people that had their lives stolen from them.  

The first is James Adamski, who was murdered in 1982 at the age of 18.  He left a party in the early hours of Halloween and disappeared.

The second is Arpana Jinaga, who was murdered in 2008 at the age of 24. She was enjoying a Halloween party at her apartment when somebody broke in and killed her.

Salem, Massachusetts is the place to be for Halloween. It is known for its history of the Salem Witch Trials, and for being all around witchy.  But that’s not all there is to know about Salem. Salem Massachusetts has a very interesting history, including curses, murders and more.

In 2011, the Ammons family moved into a house, but they had no idea what was in store for them.  What followed was ghostly occurances and more terrifying experiences.  It got to the point where the family was forced to go to the hospital, only to have more people witness the strange things that were happening.
