Inside Sources finishes with a fun look at the 7th annual Utah Treasure Hunt, which is underway now. Thousands of Utahns take to the backcountry to find the $25,000 prize, which can be located through a poem.
We're in the final few weeks before the country comes together to celebrate 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As we count down to the special day, Inside Sources is spending time celebrating the things that make our country great. To start off this special month-long coverage, Greg and Holly are joined by Dr. Matthew Brogdon, Sr. Director of the Center for Constitutional Studies at Utah Valley University.
Remember the 2024 presidential election… and one particularly disastrous debate for President Biden? Now, former First Lady Jill Biden is sharing insights into that performance, saying she could see the end of his campaign as a result of that debate. She says she thought her husband had been drugged or was having a stroke. Just three weeks later, he dropped out of the race.
As the state law on voter privacy changed, many Utah voters submitted "At-Risk" designation forms as a way to try and keep their information private. County clerks and the state lieutenant governor's office fielded those requests. But in the end, the state's efforts to help process those applications may have created a new concern for some voters. KSL Investigator Courtney Johns joins Inside Sources to explain what she found.
When you think of spring, you may think of spring cleaning. Even though spring is ending and summer's about to begin, you still have plenty of time for a little decluttering. Holly and Greg discuss the mental benefits of decluttering your mind, home, and life.
As we continue focusing on the war in Iran, are we forgetting about the other war in Eastern Europe? Russia's attacks on Ukraine have amplified in recent weeks and just last week, Russia fired a drone against Romania -- a NATO ally. So will NATO respond? Or are we so focused on the Middle East that Russian President Vladimir Putin has an opportunity to further his attacks on his European neighbors? Deseret News opinion editor Jay Evensen joins the program for this conversation.
The judge overseeing the Charlie Kirk murder case has reaffirmed that the trial – and preliminary hearings too – will remain open to the media and the public. But Tyler Robinson's defense says they'll appeal that decision all the way to the Utah Supreme Court. We hear the judge's decisions on that and potential sanctions against the Utah County Attorney's Office; Greg shares his legal insights.
Rob McBride, Urban Meyer, and Kyle Whittingham -- all legendary head football coaches for the Utah Utes. And now, a new head coach has taken the helm: Morgan Scalley. He sat down with KSL Podcasts' new show "Coaches' Book Club" to talk about the book that's influenced his life and his coaching: "Ego is the Enemy" by Ryan Holiday. Co-host of "Coaches' Book Club" Amy Donaldson joins Inside Sources with more on today's new episode with the head coach of the Utah Utes.
A series of legal blows against the President set off a firestorm of angry social media posts over the weekend. Among the legal troubles President Trump finds himself in is the settlement between the President -- as a private citizen -- and the President -- meaning the federal government. A federal judge has essentially reopened the president's lawsuit against the IRS, investigating allegations of fraud surrounding the settlement of the case. Greg and Holly discuss this development, as well as another legal order demanding the President remove his name from the Kennedy Performing Arts Center.
