Our guest this week is one of the most unique characters in the surf world. He’s an aggressive stock day-trader, a conspiracy theorist on just about every topic, a passionate amateur archaeologist, a part-time janitor for a school district, and an actor! But more than anything, he is one of the most “CORE” surfers we know. For over 30 years, he has been traveling the globe and scoring perfect waves. Whether he’s constantly glued to Surfline or has developed some secret formula blending swell, wind, and tide data (we’re not sure). What we do know is If he is out in the lineup, then you’re probably at the best spot on the coast, if not in the entire world. His uncanny ability to quick-strike the world’s best swells comes down to his secret weapon, his ultra-rare “Golden Ticket” airline pass, which has unlocked access to every bucket-list wave on the planet. Please welcome the most interesting man in the surf world, Mr. Tom “REZZY” Rezvan.

Our guest this week is a legend who had a prolific career and is one of the most recognizable and accomplished Surfers of all time. He has won over 100 Surfing competitions, including multiple victories at the US Surfing and the International Surfing Championships. He is a Musician, an Artist, a Writer, and was the 1st in many of Surfing’s Historic Milestones.

First person EVER to be paid and receive endorsements as a Surfer, first Surfer to have a production PRO model shortboard, first to win a contest with prize money, and was the youngest member on the iconic Hobie Alter Team. We welcome the larger than life personality Mr. Charles Curtis “CORKY” Carroll.

Our guest this is week has had Incredible achievements in Surfing and in Business. A

Stellar and Successful Amateur Career, he Dominated the N.S.S.A. which includes a National

Title and an Amateur World Title in 1984, which resulted in the U.S. Team taking Gold. He

continued his success turning Pro and made a name for himself on the World Tour and Charging

on the North Shore. After Retiring from Pro Surfing his business career is just as impressive. He

has worked for some of the biggest and most Iconic Brands in our industry including, Oakley,

Quiksliver, and is currently at Skullcandy. He has an extensive background in Sales and

Marketing, Brand Managing, and National Sales Director. We are pumped and stoked to sit

down with one of the greatest to come out of Huntington Beach both in or out of the water,

Mr. Scott “FARNY” Farnsworth.

Our guest this week is Surfer, Drummer, Artist, Designer, and Entrepreneur. This Talented and Creative dude spent 14 years at Hurley as Global Design Director. During those years he was also a Rock Star Drummer in the Band “Japanese Motors”. In 2020, he and his cousin started a company called “Ola Canvas” which makes timeless surfboard bags cut from deadstock of Military Spec Canvas. The Brand continue to push concepts forward rooted in Surfing with a developed full range of apparel, bags, accessories, and specialty Collaborations. We are pumped to hear about Surfing, Music, Design, and building a company, we welcome Andrew “DAD“ Atkinson.

Our guest this week is a Trail Blazer and Pioneer in the Japanese Surf Culture, opening a Surf Shop in 1971. With a passion in Filming and Photography he was able to Capture some of Surfing’s most Historic Moments! But, it was until meeting and sponsoring Tom Curren that really put Himself and The Surf Shop on the world stage by opening a Location in Huntington Beach in the 1980’s. He not only created a very successful Surf Shop Business, but he was also a huge influence and was instrumental in the development and successes of Tom Curren. We are beyond stoked and privileged to sit down and hear his story. We welcome The Sensei - Mr.Masahiko “KITO-SAN" Kito!

Our guest this week is an Entrepreneur with a Creative Mind and is also an Industry Powerhouse with over 20 years of experience. His resume’ includes VP of Operations at Paul Frank, President and Global General Manager at RVCA, SVP of Marketing and Product Development at Igloo and currently he is the Global GM at Quiksilver. But, his talents just don’t stop here as he also Co-Founded and sold 2 companies; C-Preme which made “Raskullz” Kids Helmets, was Acquired by BRG Sports (Bell Helmets). And Land and Sea Recreation “Yew Stuff” which made environmentally sensible coolers was Acquired by Igloo. Having held these various roles and positions in business has made him invaluable and we know he definitely has a few new business ideas cooking. We are stoked hear about his story and welcome our friend Brad “BRIZZ” Blankinship.

Our guest this week is one of the most successful Surfers to come out of Huntington Beach. From an early age, he was winning almost every amateur contest, and was an NSSA and USA Team member. He was destined to go Pro. He quickly climbed the pro ranks on the Bud Tour right out of high school and found himself competing on the WTC within a couple of years. Juggling a young family and while travel 9/10 months a year was a lot to handle having a young family, so after a couple of years on tour, he made a commitment to stay home to raise his kids. He took his Competitiveness and Drive and searched and took risks to find the right career. From Loan officer, to buying and running a Pro-am Surf Series, to a Surf Industry Rep, and now owning his own Pool Service Company. He is a work horse in and out of the water. A Team Captain for our HB Boardriders Club, we welcome our good friend Jeff “DBAUGH” Deffenbaugh.
