Our guest this week is a shredder and a craftsman.  He spent 10 years at Newport Surf N Sport, working his way up from a grom to running the store. His creative journey took off at 7Diamonds, where he worked as a graphic artist and designer, handling everything from catalog layouts to curating photo shoots, and even managing the design team.

He later became the head boardshort designer at O’Neill, bringing his vision and passion to one of the industry’s most iconic brands. But his creativity didn’t stop there. With a deep love for surfboards and a strong design background, he naturally evolved into a talented shaper, crafting custom boards under his own label, The Kraft Surfboards.

Our guest this week has been shaping the tech side of the Surf Industry for over 25 years. His journey began in 2000 with tech support and customer service at Swell.com, and soon after, he made his mark at Surfline, starting in ad sales and eventually leading the charge in media innovation.
By 2005, he was driving the evolution of Surfline’s online video content, long before they were known for anything beyond surf forecasts and cams. He helped build out their media channels from the ground up : YouTube, social media, and working on iconic projects like Wave of the Winter.

But his most groundbreaking contribution? The creation of Surfline’s Auto-Editing and Tracker technology.  The innovation that became Surfline Sessions. Our guest this week is a powerhouse in the world of surfing. Born in Brazil and now based in the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. She made waves early in her career, earning the title of Rookie of the Year in 2015 and has since gone on to secure four Championship Tour wins.  She proudly represented Brazil in both the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics, bringing home a silver medal, and added another prestigious title to her name by becoming the ISA World Surfing Games Champion in 2023. Taking a step away from competition, she recently turned her creative energy toward storytelling with her film  “A Marble in a Jar" . Our guest this week is a Television and Film Producer, Director, and Writer. A graduate from California State University, Long Beach in journalism, he spent 5 years working for Surfing Magazine and became Senior Editor. He went on to work for Walt Disney Studios and was eventually hired at Fox, where his groundbreaking series won a Golden Globe Award and ran for 11 seasons. It was later adapted into a successful feature film. We welcome the creator of The X-Files, Mr. Chris Russell Carter.
