We are back with another mid-week preview for Hangout in the Holy Land, which is officially Oregon week! This was the game that everyone circled when the season started, and now it is on the doorstep.

To start the episode, we preview the national slate, which looked like an all-time day before the season started and now has lost some of its luster, with some teams losing recently. However, it is still a great Saturday for football.

Then, we jump into our deep-dive Oregon preview. We talk about both sides of the ball, the Ducks' strengths and weaknesses, playing in Autzen Stadium, and our player and game predictions.

Ohio State remained undefeated by passing its biggest test of the season (so far) on Saturday, beating Iowa 35-7. The Buckeyes showed they could run and throw against a competent defense designed to limit big plays and force teams to be patient, slow, methodical, and mistake-free. The OSU offense was every bit of that on the first drive and not so much of it the rest of the first half. However, once the team regrouped at halftime, the Buckeyes did well to mix the run and the pass, weaponizing Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka once Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson showed the Hawkeyes they could pick up first downs.

We looked back at our picks to click and score predictions from last week and discussed all the key moments of Ohio State’s win.

After our Iowa rewind, we looked around the league to see how the other Big Ten teams did over the weekend. Michigan lost at Washington despite turning to new quarterback savior, Jack Tuttle. Wisconsin got well against Purdue, while Minnesota pulled off a surprise upset. Plus...Rutgers played Nebraska. I guess.

Finally, we looked ahead to the game many have been looking forward to since the schedule dropped, as Ohio State goes on the road to play a formidable Oregon Ducks team. Both of these teams could make the College Football Playoff, so it’ll be a good measuring stick. We select the players we think will have big games for Ohio State and try our hand at predicting the final score.

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s Power Two Podcast. On this show, we talk about Big Ten and SEC football…and everyone else. This show is for the die-hard fans and the casual college football fans. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the major matchups of the previous weekend and look ahead at the games, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host DaNaysia Jones. Lock in as we run a power sweep through the college football landscape.

This week DJ and Jordan jump straight into a riveting Week Six. This week will go down in history as one of the most dynamic weeks in college football with five of the top eleven teams losing in the same week for the first time since 2016. DJ and Jordan marvel at the odds that this would happen and break down all of the contests.

In the two-minute drill, Vanderbilt upsetting Alabama is the hottest topic. Jordan has particularly strong thoughts about narratives surrounding Alabama’s playoff contention. It’s way too early to have that conversation. We should just enjoy this insane week of football. DJ shares their in-person experience at the SMU vs Louisville game where SMU will most likely be ranked after a complete enough game to secure the win. When discussing the Syracuse vs UNLV contest, DJ shares some strong opinions about officiating and the effects on the game viewing experience. There was no review of the power rankings but Jordan and DJ shared their thoughts on the movement based on the recent results.

There was no way to predict what happened this week but we are still pretty solid with our Pregame Power Sweep predictions. This week we suggested: Friday: Utah State - Arizona, Noon: South Carolina - Alabama, Washington - Iowa, Wisconsin - Rutgers, Mid-Day: TX - OU, Penn State - USC, Primetime: Oregon - OSU, Iowa State - WVU, Ole Miss - LSU, and After Dark: K State - Colorado. Honorable Mention is Kentucky - Vanderbilt and Boise State - Hawaii purely to watch Ashton Jeanty shatter more records.

In the two-minute warning, Jordan expresses excitement about the upcoming National Women’s Soccer League season and the potential addition of a team in Cleveland, OH. DJ updates us on Round 2 of the WNBA playoffs and they speculate on potential results as the series begins to conclude.

For this weekend's game recap episode of Hangout in the Holy Land, Josh and Justin discuss the No. 3 ranked Buckeye’s 35-7 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. What was great? And what do the Buckeyes need to work on?

The Buckeyes only led 7-0 at the half, but a flawless third quarter saw Ohio State open up the lead and run away from Iowa. It wasn’t perfect, but a 35-7 win over a solid Iowa team is of no concern.

However, are the Buckeyes ready to head to Eugene and take on Oregon?

We also give a live commentary on Vanderbilt knocking off No. 1 Alabama to send a ripple through college football.

This is the only Big Ten Podcast that’ll cover all 18 teams. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.

Welcome back to another episode of the I-80 Football Show! We have a packed traffic update starting with Purdue firing offensive coordinator Graham Harrell. The guys take a moment to look at the rise and fall of Harrell, who was considered a fast riser in the industry at one point. The Big Ten and SEC are furthering their partnership with a scheduled meeting next week to discuss a scheduling agreement and the future of the college football playoff. 

Indiana finally played a team with a pulse and committed a turnover for the first time all season but they still beat Maryland by 14 points and are finally ranked in the AP top 25. Minnesota gave Michigan a scare but it may be time to ask some tough questions about PJ Fleck's tenure with the Golden Gophers. Washington played almost a perfect game on offense but still lost to Rutgers after a mistake-filled game including missing three field goals. Illinois and Penn State felt like a heavy-weight fight that went the distance but Penn State was the better team and found a way to win when it mattered most. 

In this week's Mapquest segment, Friday night is headlined but a feisty Michigan State hosting the Oregon Ducks. Noon is a snoozefest but if you’re not taking a nap to prepare for the midday slate you could watch Purdue and Wisconsin fight for the bottom of the conference. Midday starts the underrated matchups with Ohio State starting its toughest four-game stretch against Iowa and Rutgers battling Nebraska. Primetime also has two matchups headlined by Washington hoping to bounce back from a disappointing loss by upsetting Michigan and Minnesota and Darius Taylor welcoming USC to Minnesota. 

Dante brings the SEC to a Big Ten podcast in his pitstop. This podcast had questions about how Alabama would look without Nick Saban but Kalen Deboer answered some big questions by beating Georgia on Saturday. Jordan takes a moment to celebrate ten years of friendship.

A win on the road in the Big Ten is rarely easy and Ohio State's trip to East Lansing was not without its struggles, but the defense stiffened, the offense kept scoring, and Jeremiah Smith kept doing Jeremiah Smith things in the Buckeyes 38-7 victory over the Spartans of Michigan State. We break down the good, the bad, and the ugly from the road win, digest the Buckeyes’ statistics, check in to see if our Buckeye picks to click did just that, and looked back to see who came closest to predicting the final score.

After our Sparty rewind, we took a look at the other games around the Big Ten over the weekend, including a tale of two halves at USC, a defensive struggle in Happy Valley, odd officiating that will make no Gophers happy, and the Bizarro World of a 5-0 Indiana team.

Finally, we look ahead to what is easily Ohio State’s most difficult opponent so far this season. The Iowa Hawkeyes will visit Ohio Stadium on Saturday, bringing an army of tight ends to run free through the Buckeye secondary and a defense that will make Michigan State’s look like Western Michigan’s. We expect Iowa to be a pain in the neck on Saturday. Another blowout win for Ohio State would not be unwelcome, just unexpected.
