(10/18/23) Markets opened lower Tuesday, but rallied before the close to end up essentially flat for the day. This is the pattern now o flate day buying as institutions come into the market to pick up positions on their portfolios. That's a good thing for markets, at least in the near-term. As November approaches, a month with some of the largest inflows, market drivers will become less dependant upon corporate earnings. Markets continue to trade above the 20-DMA, forming yet another wedge of price compression for now.
