On this week’s episode, I sit down with Leah Wynne. We had to put a trigger warning on this episode as Leah is a survivor of rape and domestic violence.
At just 17 years of age, Leah was raped and left with horrific injuries. We talk about the long-term effects this has had on her over the years and how years later seeking solace in what she thought would be a safe loving relationship she ended up being physically and mentally tortured.
Today Leah is married to her rock and has recently had life-changing gastric surgery and she tells me contrary to some beliefs, this was not an easy way out.
