سعدی

سعدی٬ از شاعران معروف و جاودان ایران و زادگاهش شهر شیراز می باشد.

وی به دلیل نظم و نثر آهنگین٬ گیرا و قوی به نام "استاد سخن" لقب گرفته است.

آثار او اکثراً در قالب محتوای پند و اندرز نوشته شده و به جامهٔ شعر و نثر زیبا و آهنگین فارسی در آمده اند.ا

آثار مهم سعدی٬ کتاب های گلستان٬ بوستان٬ و غزلیات وی می باشند که حاصل سفرهای بسیار او به سرزمین های مختلف جهان است.

او در این آثار به سفرهای خود اشاره کرده است٬ گرچه ممکن است برخی از این حکایات تنها داستان پردازی باشند٬ ولی آنچه که مسلم است از تجربیات بی شمار شاعر سرچشمه گرفته اند.ا

کتاب "بوستان" سعدی یکی از آثار مشهور او شامل اشعاری با وزن حماسی و با محتوای اخلاق و تربیت٬ سیاست و اجتماعیات است و از حدود چهار هزار بیت تشکیل شده است.

کتاب "گلستان" نیز دیگر اثر تأثیرگذار سعدی است که به نثر آهنگین نوشته شده است و داستان های کوتاه و نصایح اخلاقی را در بر می گیرد.ا

یکی از اشعار سعدی که به دلیل همگانی بودن پیام آن٬ در جهان شناخته شده است شعر "بنی آدم" اوست با مضمون برابری و برادری انسان ها.

"بنی آدم اعضای یکدیگرند٬ که در آفرینش زیک گوهرند

چو عضوی به درد آورد روزگار٬ دگر عضوها را نماند قرار"٬ شعری است که گفته می شود امروزه بر سر در ورودی سازمان ملل نیویورک آویزان است.ا

آرامگاه سعدی هم اکنون در انتهای خیابان بوستان و کنار باغ دلگشا در دامنهٔ کوهی در شمال شرق شیراز قرار دارد.

این بنا که تلفیقی از معماری قدیم و جدید ایرانی است٬ شامل بنایی هشت ضلعی در داخل٬ با دیوارهایی از مرمر و گنبدی لاجوردی است و جزو آثار ملی ایران به شمار می رود.

Saadi

Saadi is one of the famous and everlasting poets of Iran, and Shiraz City is his homeland.

Due to his powerful, charismatic, and rhythmic prose and poetry, he received the nickname "Master of Word."

His works are mostly written about advice, turned into the cover of the beautiful and melodic Persian prose and verse.

The most significant works of Saadi are his Bustan ("Garden") and Golestan ("Flower Garden") books and his Ghazal poems, which are the harvests of his many travels to different lands of the world.

He mentions his trips in these works, and although it's possible that some of the tales are only storytelling and fiction, the obvious thing is that they originated from the poet's countless experiences.

The Bustan book of Saadi is one of his famous works, including poems in the heroic rhythm about ethics, education, politics, and social sciences, and it is formed by about 4000 rhyming couplets.

The Golestan book is another impressive work by Saadi, written in rhythmic prose and containing short stories and moral advice.

One of Saadi's poems that is known throughout the world due to its general message is his "Bani Adam" ("Children of Adam") poem, with the theme of equality and brotherhood of humans.

"Adam's sons are body limbs to say; For they're created of the same clay.

Should one organ be troubled by pain, others would suffer severe strain..." is a poem that is said to be hung on the entrance gate of the UN building in New York.

Saadi's tomb is presently located at the end of Bustan street, next to Delgosha garden, on a mountain slope in the northeast of Shiraz.

This building, which is a mix of the old and new architectures of Iran, includes an octagon structure inside with marble walls and an azure dome, and is considered part of the national heritage of Iran.
