If God asked you to take a step back from something you truly loved to rest more fully in His love, could you do it?

This thought-provoking, and maybe even challenging, question is where we pick up the podcast this week. And I’m joined by author, worship leader, and mother of three Christy Nockels, who knows first hand what it means to transform the soul by learning to rest. 

She shares the full story in her new book The Life You Long For: Learning to Live from a Heart of Rest (available February 16), but I’m delighted to have her on the show today to share what she’s learned throughout the years as she embraced the sacrifices the Lord asked her to make.
