Number 2: 248. “Soap Opera” - The Case of Diane Wolf - Hanover, Pennsylvania
A missing woman, a hotel card, and a fax number. On January 29th, 1999, 45-year-old Diane Wolf vanished after a shift at Hanover Foods. She was last captured on surveillance video making a $300 deposit at the drive through ATM at Allfirst Bank. Her 1994 teal Pontiac Grand Prix was later found at Weis Market. As investigators re-examined the case a decade later, new clues surfaced. Perhaps Diane’s life was more complicated than anyone originally thought. Diane Wolf remains missing. At the time of her disappearance, Diane was 45 years old, 5’6, 180 pounds with brown eyes. She had recently dyed her hair red. Diane wore glasses, has three earrings on each ear, and a purple rose tattoo on her left ankle. Weeks earlier, Alexis had returned home from a trip to Las Vegas claiming she had been kidnapped and sex trafficked. After her disappearance, investigators uncovered conflicting accounts surrounding a house party, surveillance footage that didn’t match witness statements and a disturbing lead involving blood and a burn mattress.
