The Valencia Marathon and Half Marathons are here and they are STACKED. Jodan Hasay represents America in the marathon and Emily Sisson is after Molly Huddle's American half-marathon record. Lawrence Cherono, Birhanu Legesse and Lelisa Desisa square off in the marathon as the world records could go in the half with Letesenbet Gidey in her debut, and Rhonex Kipruto, Jacob Kiplimo and and Kibiwott Kandie in the men's race.

Plus we've got the unofficial high school cross country national championship on the girls' side with Sydney Thorvaldson and Brynn Brown squaring off at the High School Cross Country National Invite in Lubbock. Lubbock Christian coach Nick Cordes (former World Half team member and husband to NCAA champ Leigh Daniel) joins us @ 78:18 to discuss the meet and discuss how it came about.

Ken Goe, the long-time track and field writer for the Oregonian retired after 43 years and joined us at 73:45 to talk his career, the state of track and field, and of course everything Nike including Alberto Salazar, Phil Knight, and Vin Lananna.
Prior to that Elijah Manangoi accepts blame for a doping offense, Conseslus Kipruto is charged with serious crimes in Kenya (statutory rape), doping conspiracies are unanimously illegal in US Congress, Sara Hall's deleted thread of week and marathon chances, James Li retires and a lot more including a few Rojo's rants.
Plus, Rojo asks Wejo if he thinks Paula Radcliffe is clean or like Trevor Bauer. Wejo is answering this question in a private Supporters Club only AMA.

Letesenbet Gidey (14:06.62) and Joshua Cheptegei (26:11:00) have broken the women's 5000 and men's 10,000 in Valenia - but should the new marks discounted because of the new technology that was used?
Who is the men's track and field MVP of 2020 - Mondo Duplantis or Joshua Cheptegei?
Sifan Hassan gets a lot of attention this week as after running 29:36 she weirdly pulled out of the World Half Champs. What events should she do in Tokyo? 1500/5k, 5k/10k or 1500/10k? Speaking of the World Half, it's time to get excited as the fields are STACKED and the race is this weekend so we preview that.
A cougar has attacked a runner in Utah and we talk about this as know this actually happened unlike the bear attack from earlier in the summer.
We also have lots of NCAA talk. The University of Minnesota men's track team has been saved and the biggest meet of the 2020 NCAA xc season is this weekend as BYU, NAU and Colorado are all running at the Oklahoma State Invitational.
