We did this episode on Tik Tok Live, I think we cracked a few codes. As y'all know I've been deep diving into the origin of my personal traumas and the impact of CPTSD on the mind and body. I've been learning so much from random articles online, dual-pronged therapy, and youtube channels like Patrick Teahan!
Something that I have yet to see people discuss is the correlation between psychological health and spiritual health. I believe that trauma impacts the mind and body the same way a hex would. Someone has decided (consciously or not) to place negativity into your life and now it's your responsibility to clear it. Paranoia, isolation, physical illness, decline in appearance, and even suicide can be attributed to both hexing and surviving traumatizing events.
Karmically, I view either as something to overcome, something that we've decided to endure in order to enrich our experience on earth, or succumb to for the fullness of the experience. While I don't beleive certain things are excusable (rape, repeated DUI's, psychological abuse, etc.) I have made peace with the fact that illness exists in all forms, and healing ourselves is more important than investigating the who/what/where/when/why of the illness, though this can also be healing when done correctly.
This realization has also made me realize that I'd rather be the abused, and heal, than be an abuser walking through this life on borrowed time. Let me know what you guys think, and what type of therapy/worldview is helping you.
