In this episode, I’m having a bit of fun imagining what would change if your pet ran your business for a week, because honestly, our animals are pros at keeping life simple.
Inspired by walking my dog Loki, I share seven lessons we can borrow for business: stop chasing every “new” strategy and focus on a few things that work; treat rest as essential, not something you have to earn; take action before you feel ready; stay curious and treat what’s not working as feedback; enjoy the journey instead of constantly moving the goalposts; and create things that outlast your time, like content or digital products, so your impact isn’t limited by your availability.

In this episode of the Limitless Pet Business Podcast, I share seven common pieces of business advice I ignored, and why I believe my business is stronger because of it. I talk about why I didn’t wait to be fully booked before creating digital products, why you don’t need thousands of followers to make sales, and why low-ticket offers can be just as powerful as high-ticket ones.
I also unpack the reality behind “passive income,” how I’ve grown with a lean team by leaning on systems and automation, and why hustle culture doesn’t align with the kind of freedom-focused business I want. Finally, I explain why you don’t have to choose between client work and an online business, and how they can support each other.

In this episode, I talk about the sneaky ways pet professionals end up overgiving - replying to “quick questions” after hours, squeezing in extra clients, and carrying cases in our heads long after the workday ends - and why it can become an addiction to being needed. I explore how caring, compassionate work can turn into constantly repeating the same answers across messages and sessions, and why that keeps your business dependent on you showing up every day.
I share the mindset shift that changed everything for me: people may need help, but they don’t always need my time. I explain how digital products like guides, courses, or memberships can package your expertise so clients get support anytime while your business keeps running, and I invite you to start by identifying where you repeat yourself most.

In this episode, I share why I believe making your first £100 online can feel harder than reaching £10K, because it’s not really about the money, it’s about proof. Until you make that first sale, everything is theoretical, and it’s easy for doubt, uncertainty, and worst-case thinking to take over, especially if a launch feels quiet at first.
I talk about why so many pet pros quit too early, before they’ve collected enough data to learn what works, and how momentum builds once you have evidence, confidence, and clearer messaging. I also explain why, after your first success, it’s often smarter to keep selling the same validated product rather than rushing to create something new.

In this episode, I’m talking about the emotional side of creating and selling digital products, the part nobody really warns you about. We all hear plenty about strategy, pricing, tech, and launches, but not enough about how quickly you can swing from feeling on top of the world to questioning everything when sales are slow.
I’ll share why tying your self-worth to your sales dashboard is exhausting, why digital products often don’t give instant feedback, and how reacting too quickly can derail good ideas before they have time to work. I also walk you through a more helpful mindset - treating results as data, thinking like a scientist, and learning emotional regulation so you can stop making big decisions on bad days, make peace with failure, and stay in the game long enough to learn what really works.

In this episode, I talk about how a £27 digital product sale can grow into £300+ by focusing on making more money from customers who are already buying from you, rather than constantly chasing new leads. I share the mindset shift that the first sale isn’t the finish line, it’s the starting line, because that’s when trust is highest.
I explain how upsells and order bumps can feel natural and helpful when they’re the next logical step, like offering a puppy biting course buyer support with other common puppy challenges. I also cover why this matters for ad costs, how average order value changes the maths, and why ethical upsells come down to relevance and service.

In this episode, I share exactly what I’d do if I woke up tomorrow and needed to generate digital product sales this month, without a massive audience or a long, drawn-out strategy. I talk about why I’d stop obsessing over the “perfect” idea and instead focus on getting fast proof that people want (and will pay for) a solution.
I walk you through starting with one hyper-specific problem your audience is frustrated with, validating demand quickly with simple polls, and choosing a small, achievable mini course so you can create and sell faster. I also explain how I’d use ChatGPT to build a clear course roadmap, how I’d warm people up with helpful content, and how I’d run a simple 48-hour launch to build momentum and confidence.

In this episode, I’m talking to you if you’ve had an online course idea sitting in your head for months, even years, and it still isn’t out in the world. I break down why course creation can feel so overwhelming and how that pressure often leads straight to perfectionism and burnout.
I share why your first course shouldn’t be your “forever” course, why smaller and more specific courses can be more appealing, and how to focus on a minimum viable version that still gets results. I also cover validating demand before you overbuild, designing a course that fits your life, and launching before you feel ready.

In this episode, I’m talking about the online obsession with high-ticket services and why I think low-ticket offers are being wildly underestimated, especially for pet professionals. I’m not anti-high ticket at all, but I share what’s working in my business right now and why smaller offers can create stability, momentum, and less pressure than relying on big sales.
I’ll walk you through how low-ticket products reduce buying friction, help people build trust with you over time, and can lead to higher-ticket sales later. I also talk about why “low-ticket buyers are bad buyers” is a myth, how digital products can create a more scalable business that doesn’t depend on you being physically present, and why simplicity and quick wins often sell better than overwhelming, overpacked offers.

In this episode, I’m digging into why so many pet professionals put off creating digital products, even when they know it could help them earn more without adding more hours. Instead of focusing on tools or platforms, I’m unpacking the deeper, emotional reasons your brain might be resisting, like grieving the hands-on identity you’ve built, feeling exposed by a more public kind of visibility, and the vulnerability that comes from turning your knowledge into a clear, tangible method.
I also talk about how being conditioned to constant urgency can make long-term creative work feel uncomfortable, why fear of success can be just as real as fear of failure, and how putting too much pressure on a “perfect” first product keeps you stuck. Finally, I remind you that you already know enough to help someone.
