Listen in as we hang out with David Porter and talk about how he became known as the Brabo guy in BJJ. David is a BJJ black belt under Pedro Sauer. David turned himself into an impressive competitor on Fight to Win PRO, Finishers Series, The Rickson Cup, and US Grappling, among others. Martial arts has been a part of his life as far back as he can remember. He went pro in MMA in 2005. When he began he had a minor wrestling background and knew he needed to up that game, so he began BJJ training. Over time he fell in love with the simplicity of using leverage and good mechanics to beat a variety of opponents. Now he instructs many classes for adults as well as children. David  competed at a high level for many years and still stays ready to compete now if the right opponent wants to compete.

He has been a lifelong martial artist and holds multiple black belts in multiple arts. A U.S. National Champion, U.S. Open Champion and Pan American Medalist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Todd continues to actively train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.  Not only has Todd done all this, he also competed in original MMA fighting, known as NHB (No Holds Barred).
