My daughter is often silenced, seemly unable to say word,s even when she has come home (from Uni) with an issue of some kind. I ask her and eventually just offer general words of support hoping it helps. But I am left frustrated and feeling I have failed her somehow.
I have looked at where I see this in myself and know I have done the exact same thing, most often when I am anxious and afraid, which has been often over the last few years. This could be why she worries me, as I see her as being the same, I think she must be anxious and afraid too.
Logically I see any number of reasons could be the cause but I am confused by my own conditioning or memories.
