I listen to the news and I see all the terrible things going on in the world - the violence, climate change, poverty, the pandemic. We need to take action on all of this right now not sit around wondering about the self and about what I am. Spirituality seems totally self indulgent when there is so much that must be changed . We first need to sort out all the issues in the world - like climate change, racism, violence etc and only then should we  turn our attention to ourselves.
