Hello Friends! Sure you've heard her on this podcast before, but we never really got into Collin's story. She's an introvert, of course it was going to take 45 episodes to get it out of her. This is just part of her story.

What am I doing? I'm writing this in the 3rd person as if I, Collin, wasn't the one writing these show notes.....
Here's part of my story. It's the kind of stuff most people don't want to talk about - but I felt the need to talk about it. Rape & Abortion. I'm hoping that by sharing this, it helps someone else out there. I don't want pity or praise... I just want others to know that it's okay to have parts of your story that are lows and not highs. Life isn't always a highlight reel. There's things we go through that might take decades to process and that's okay. It's okay to not understand it. It's okay to acknowledge that you've been through some shit, but that shit doesn’t  have to define you.  It's okay to talk about the things that most people are uncomfortable talking about. Maybe if more people shared their story - we wouldn't have to hold in the hurt, shame, or guilt.

I love you all so much and I'm so incredibly thankful to be a part of this badass community. Y'all are amazing!  Hearing everyone else's stories helped me come to terms with my own. If you have a story you'd like to share, please reach out. Let's normalize life having both highs and lows! <3
