  • What is a Nourishment Menu when you are ADHD?

Many things can help people with ADHD stay focused and on track. A nourishment menu can help support focus and concentration. It can be a comfortable and supportive chair, a well-lit work area, noise-canceling headphones, a fidget toy, a hot cup of tea, or a short break to take a walk or stretch, etc.

Having a nourishment menu can help people with ADHD to identify what supports their concentration and focus. Having these things on hand makes it easier to stay on track throughout the day.

  • ADHD Needs Goals

ADHD needs goals to stay on track and be successful. They are known for their creative minds and ability to think outside the box. However, they also tend to be scattered and disorganized. This can make it difficult for them to achieve their goals.

One way to combat this is by setting specific, measurable, and achievable goals. Breaking down your goals into small, manageable steps will help you stay focused and on track. It is also vital for ADHDers to have a support system in place.

Having someone to talk to about goals and progress while setting deadlines for yourself will help to keep you accountable and motivated. If you're an ADHDer, use your unique strengths to your advantage and set goals to help you succeed.

  • Micro Shifts, Habit Stacking/Cycling

Micro shifts, habit stacking/cycling. These two components are the absolute powerhouse of how you shift your behaviors and build new habits. They work to make sure that you become set up for success. They help make you feel comfortable when you're uncomfortable and move forward in the direction you want to take with your life.

Micro shifts are the key to creating lasting change in your life. What exactly are they? Micro shifts are when you take a small action/decision. It's as simple as turning off your television or radio while you work on your project or writing that book you want to write and not watching TV; this becomes crucial in implementing change into our needs, likes, and passions.

The thing about micro shifts is that they can change your life completely. Especially if it's what you want to shift. Why not? You can manifest like anything you want, but why not use it as a vehicle or even a tool to change something that you want in your life.

  • Thriving During The Holidays with ADHD

The holidays can be an overwhelming time for people with ADHD. But despite the extra stress, it doesn’t have to be a time of stagnation or feeling overwhelmed. Here are a few tips for thriving during the holidays with ADHD.

First and foremost, know your non-negotiables. Take stock of what you need to do to keep your business alive and running during the holidays. It’s essential to stay present with your clients and ensure they know you’re available. At the same time, be mindful of your own energy and capacity. Establishing boundaries and being honest with yourself about what you can handle will go a long way in keeping your business on track.

Second, create systems that work for you. For example, if you forget tasks or appointments, create a schedule that clearly outlines what needs to be done and when. Use reminders or alarms to help you stay on track. Having transparent systems in place can help reduce the stress of feeling like you need to be everywhere at once.

Finally, don’t forget to take care of yourself during the holidays. Make sure you have time for yourself and do activities that bring you joy. You can’t take care of your clients

  • How To Function When You Want To But Can't Seem To

We all have times when we don’t feel like doing anything. For some, this chronic problem leads to self-sabotage and unhappiness. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can improve your life by understanding why you do what you do and then taking steps to change the pattern.

The first step is recognizing that you are capable of more than you think. You must also be honest with yourself about why you’re procrastinating in the first place and address any patterns of self-sabotage and self-loathing. Once you understand where your inner critic comes from, it becomes easier to silence her voice.

Accountability is essential to this process; make sure you have a tribe of people who get it and will help keep you on track. And finally, create nourishment menus for yourself – times when you know you can fully commit to whatever task is at hand without distractions or guilt trips. Celebrate your accomplishments along the way.

What did YOU do today to honor your own badassery?

    • How To Make A Habit Switching Strategy That Actually Works!

How To Make A Habit Switching Strategy That Actually Works!

Do you want to create a habit?

I've seen people try and fail time after time. They start with good intentions, but they give up when the task becomes too hard or takes too much effort. That's why I developed my Habit Switching Strategy! It is simple, effective, and will help you make any habit last long-term.

In this video, I share the five steps to making a habit switching strategy that actually works:

*Step 1: Identify your goal, and find what you're currently doing wrong to achieve it.
*Step 2: Create a new routine for yourself, and be sure to have a "cue" or trigger so it's easy for you to remember when you need to do your new action.
*Step 3: Be patient. It can take up to four weeks before your brain starts understanding the change as being normal behavior.
*Step 4: Practice makes perfect. The more times you practice something, the easier it will become until there's no stopping you from achieving success!

Making a habit of something is hard, but it's not impossible. It might be useful, especially if you're trying to switch from an unhealthy practice to a healthy habit or if you're trying to get more organized in your life.

I hope you find this helpful.
