Going into content marketing I realized that we have been going about video wrong all our lives. We were taught to talk about ourselves, how we’re the best, and sell people things that are a bit of an oversell. But we never answer any of the questions in the minds of the consumers. 

No matter the platform that we are on, whether that’s Facebook, YouTube or maybe even TikTok, you have to understand what the people we’re talking to want. What do they need? What are the “pain points” that they go through? 

Content marketing is giving an answer to all these questions. It’s all about relating to people and putting yourself in their shoes. You can’t just say “Oh, I’m the best realtor. I can get you top dollar.” Well, let’s just say that they have heard that from a thousand other realtors. 

Show up not just as some realtor, but as a person that will help buyers and sellers with their main problems.
