MATTHEW ALDERMAN, KM, is a cradle Catholic Cuban-American architect, published illustrator designer, and a frequent speaker on church building and sacred art.
His designs, writing and art have appeared in Sacred Architecture, First Things, Antiphon, and The Living Church and are in collections from California to Singapore.
He is one of America's few heraldic artists, creating coats of arms, seals, banners and related art for institutions, diocese, clergy and private individuals.
In 2020, he was named official artist to the Committee on Heraldry of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, a leading American body in the field.
Matthew is a Knight of Magistral Grace in the Order of Malta, an 800-year-old lay religious and chivalric institution within the Catholic Church.
