The Los Angeles Angels lost their ace in Shohei Ohtani, but the return to a five-man rotation might serve the young starters well. While the Angels certainly would've benefitted from adding a new ace, so far, they haven't added any starting pitching. So, does the Halos' rotation remain the biggest question mark? Who will these starters be in 2024 after the years they had in 2023? On today's Locked On Angels, the Super Halo Bros. take a look at Reid Detmers, Patrick Sandoval, Griffin Canning, Chase Silseth, and Tyler Anderson as we ask the question, can they improve this coming season? What influencing factors caused Detmers and Sandoval to take steps back in 2023, and will that change? Will Tyler Anderson find a way to be a competitive pitcher this year? Have we seen Griffin Canning take a step forward, and will Chase Silseth make a strong starter? We'll discuss it all on today's show!

The Los Angeles Angels head into 2024 with a number of outfielders and a number of questions regarding their outfield. In segment 1, we'll discuss Mike Trout's position as center fielder and how his success is the team's success. But, will Mike Trout be able to stay on the field in 2024? The last three years have been tough to watch for Angels fans, as every time Trout is on the field, he continues to prove why he's the best in baseball. However, will the injury bug rear its ugly head in 2024? And, will the addition of Aaron Hicks give Trout time off of his feet?

Then, what is Taylor Ward's status entering Spring Training after his season ended with a face fracture? Ward started to heat up before the injury, and he stands to be working left field for the Halos this season. We'll discuss Taylor Ward in segment 2!

Plus, right field figures to be ran by Mickey Moniak and Jo Adell, two young outfielders that the Angels could plan on having for years to come. We'll discuss when they're likely to be manning right field and when they might take a day off in segment 3!

The Los Angeles Angels signed Anthony Rendon to a big-time contract prior to 2020, but his performance has been anything but Big Time since then. Between injuries and a perceived lack of enthusiasm, it's been an uneasy relationship between Anthony Rendon and Angels fans. On today's show, we're continuing our look at the Halos roster with 3rd base, and, perhaps most importantly, discussing what we can expect from Anthony Rendon this season. We'll take a look at his past few seasons, the FanGraphs projections, and, we're asking: will all be forgiven if Anthony Rendon performs this season? It's time to get spicy in segment 1!

Plus, we'll take a look at the depth on the Angels roster beyond Rendon, including Luis Rengifo, Michael Stefanic, and Hunter Dozier, as well as discuss whether or not there will be an attitude adjustment with Ron Washington at the helm! It's all happening on today's Locked On Angels!

The Los Angeles Angels called up shortstop Zach Neto shortly after the 2023 season began, and the young star proved to be a stellar middle infielder to begin his career in the Bigs! While injuries derailed what could've been a top rookie season, Neto figures to be the starting shortstop for the Angels in 2024. So, will Neto continue his strong start in the new season, or will injuries be a concern? We'll discuss Zach Neto in segment 1!

Plus, who's going to back up Zach Neto at shortstop? While Luis Rengifo is the likely choice, his defensive numbers at shortstop don't instill a lot of confidence. So, how will Ron Washington and the Halos handle this in 2024? We'll discuss their options as well as consider the depth the Angels have in the minor leagues. It's all happening on today's Locked On Angels!

The Los Angeles Angels will see Brandon Drury manage 2nd base duties this season, as he's coming off one of the best seasons of his career and figures to be a key part of this lineup in 2024. On today's Locked On Angels, we'll take a look at Drury's 2023 and his ability over at 2nd base, plus, when he's not taking care of business up the middle and handling 1st base, will we see most of Luis Rengifo's time in the infield at that spot? And, what sort of 2nd base depth do the Halos have if the need arises? Will the Angels turn to Michael Stefanic, whose bat and contact ability might earn him a spot on the bench this year? We'll get into all of it on today's show!
