January 08, 2024 Los Angeles Angels General Manager Perry Minasian Has 1 Year Left: Will He Stay Or Will He Go?
Los Angeles Angels General Manager Perry Minasian said that the Halos plan to be "aggressive" in the offseason, but so far, it's been a few low-impact moves from the front office. So, it got us asking, what is Perry Minasian's fate after 2024? Will he stay another year to see through his new manager Ron Washington's 2-year tenure, or will this be his last year as Angels GM? His contract expires after this season, so it's a question worth asking. On today's Locked On Angels, we'll share the reasons we feel Perry should stay, the reasons he should go, and, we'll each share our thoughts as to what we think is best for the Angels in the long run!

January 05, 2024 Los Angeles Angels GM Redo: Making NEW Free Agency Picks Based on Who's Left! Cody Bellinger? Jordan Montgomery?
The Los Angeles Angels seem to be "in" on a number of players, but that hasn't stopped the market from moving at a snail's pace this offseason. A few weeks ago, the Super Halo Bros. shared who they'd sign in free agency at the beginning of the offseason, but many players that we wanted have come off the board since then. With that being the case, we're taking the time to do a "GM Redux!" On today's Locked On Angels, we'll share some of the top remaining free agents out there at each position, give our thoughts about them, and share our new picks for free agency! Which new players will Jon and Mike choose, and which ones will they keep from their last GM episodes that are still available? Find out on today's show!

January 04, 2024 Los Angeles Angels Starters MUST Cover 67% of Innings: Can They Meet the Demand? Rotation Career Highs & Free Agent Help
The Los Angeles Angels do not currently have a starter who has pitched more than 180 innings in a season. With the absence of Shohei Ohtani in this rotation, the Halos will likely move to a 5-man rotation, meaning that each starter will have to step up in a big way in 2024. So, can they do it? We'll take a look at pitchers who reached 200 innings and what year they've done it and if the young starters can do it in segment 1!
Then, we'll take a look at the career highs of each Angels starting pitcher and their projected innings pitched over a 162-game season. Will that be enough to cover the 977 or so innings that starters would need to pitch? We'll dive into the numbers and ask the question, can these starters take a step forward with 5-6 more starts and possibly 35 more innings? We'll discuss it in segment 2!
Plus, which free-agent starting pitchers are available to help the Halos cover the innings need? There are certainly big arms out there, in addition to possible minor-league deals that could support the starting 5. We'll take a look at the options in segment 3!

January 03, 2024 Los Angeles Angels No Longer Under Pressure Without Ohtani? Zach Plesac Signing, How Will Johnny Washington Coach?
The Los Angeles Angels signed right-handed starting pitcher Zach Plesac to a major-league deal over the weekend, in a move that surprised many Halo fans. Do the Angels expect him in the rotation, or will this be a depth move for a guy who's struggled over the last 3 seasons? The Super Halo Bros. share why the Angels made this move and what it might mean for the starting rotation in 2024!
Then, now that Shohei Ohtani is with the Dodgers, is the "get Trout and Ohtani to the playoffs" pressure off of the Angels? While young stars like Zach Neto, Logan O'Hoppe, and Nolan Schanuel have made their desires to win known, do things change now that the playoffs or bust pressure is gone, or do the Angels continue to try and push to win? We'll discuss it in segment 2!
Plus, how will new hitting coach Johnny Washington influence the Halo hitters in 2024? We'll dive into the changes that Cody Bellinger made working with Washington in Chicago, his approach to working with hitters, and how that might impact the hitters next season!

December 28, 2023 Los Angeles Angels Have Trade Candidates? Rengifo, Suarez, Ward, Moniak, & Thaiss Drawing Interest, Would We Move Them?
Los Angeles Angels fans may not feel as though they have a lot of trade capital, but, according to reports from Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, five Angels major leaguers are caught after by rival baseball clubs, and they could make for interesting trade candidates as the Halos remain active on the trade market. Today, we'll take a look at Luis Rengifo, Jose Suarez, Taylor Ward, Mickey Moniak, and Matt Thaiss, share what Rosenthal had to say about them, and what the Super Halo Bros. say about each of them! Would we be willing to part with some of these players, and, if so, what could the return be? Are there some we're willing to keep and continue to have them be part of the team in 2024? We'll get into it all on today's Locked On Angels!

December 27, 2023 Los Angeles Angels Add Depth: Marisnick, Bullpen, & Catching, Who Are They, and Why Were They Added?
Los Angeles Angels fans are waiting for the Halos to make some impactful moves, but so far, they've really only added depth pieces for the 2024 season. Although it's not flashy or exciting, they are necessary moves to get the Angels through 162 games, and the names they've added aren't the worst depth pieces in the world. While fans know the Angels certainly deal with their fair share of injuries every season, they can take comfort in the fact that they have capable backups to take any spots hurt by an IL stint. On today's show, we'll take a look at the names, including Jake Marisnick, Chad Wallach, DJ Snelten, and Tayron Guerrero, to name a few, give you what stands out about each, the concerns that come with each one, and how they'll be helpful to the team in 2024. That's all happening on today's Locked On Angels!

December 20, 2023 Mike Trout Shouldn't Leave, Arte Moreno Should. Los Angeles Angels "Worth It" Deals, Big Contracts for a Hitter or Pitcher?
Los Angeles Angels fans are sitting through another round of baseball media trying to pry one of the only bright spots this team has away from them in the form of Mike Trout. With Shohei Ohtani leaving for the Dodgers, the conversation has now turned to players, fans, and baseball media wanting to see Mike Trout on another team. The Super Halo Bros. take issue with that, and in segment 1, share why the problem isn't with the fans or Mike Trout, but that it's an Arte Moreno problem. We'll talk about it all in the first segment!
Then, which contracts have the Angels given out have been "worth it"? Mike and Jon discuss the Halos' most successful free agent moves and even some trades that have actually paid off in segment 2, plus ask the question; "was Mike Trout's extension worth it?"
Plus, would we give more money to a free-agent hitter or pitcher, and what kind of contract would we give? Whose free agency are we looking forward to coming up? We'll tell you all about it in segment 3!
