Three regulation wins in three games out in California in which David Pastrnak scored 7 goals.

The road trip success bumped the Boston Bruins to 32-4-4 on the season, and they're winning at an historic rate.

Boston's 68 points are the second-most through 40 games in NHL history (Boston, 71 in 1929-30), while their 32 wins also equal the second-most through 40 games in league lore with the 1944-45 Canadiens (the 1929-30 B's had 35 wins).

Ian McLaren discusses Pastrnak's ongoing dominance, Hampus Lindholm's homecoming, Trevor Zegras poking the bear, and expectations for the rest of the season.

Jake DeBrusk is indeed injured. The Boston Bruins forward isn't on the 3-game California road trip and will miss around 4 weeks and 14 games with a fractured fibula.

For the time being, David Pastrnak will jump back to the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, with Taylor Hall, David Krejci, and Pavel Zacha rounding out the top 6.

Could this prompt a move prior to the trade deadline? Could Sweeney use the LTIR loophole?

Plus, it's the weekly Cup check where the Bruins still stand apart from the other top 5 teams around the NHL.

Jake DeBrusk's Winter Classic heroics may have come at a cost.

The Bruins forward was seeing wearing a walking boot and may have fractured his foot, reportedly prompting the recall of Chris Wagner.

Host Ian McLaren discusses the implications of the injury and takes a look at 3 questions facing the Bruins this year:

Nick Foligno said it best during and after Monday's Winter Classic.

The veteran forward gave the squad a pep talk durind the second intermission, urging the team not to waste the opportunity. It's a message that will no doubt be rammed home leading up to the playoffs.

Foligno then called Jake DeBrusk 'a man on a mission' after #74 scored twice in the 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park.

By the way, if the playoffs started today, the Bruins would be playing those Penguins in the first round. Find out where the Bruins rank in the Eastern Conference power rankings.

Jake DeBrusk scored twice and Linus Ullmark made some key stops for the Boston Bruins in a Winter Classic win over the Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park.

The Bruins started slow again in this one, although outdoor hockey usually means low event hockey.

DeBrusk showed his gamebreaking ability and proved he's a guy they can rely on to come up big in key moments.

Plus, Ullmark's legend also continues to grow, and he's embodying Bruins goalies of the recent past.

The Boston Bruins finished 2022 with an overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres, dropping to 18-0-3 at home this season.

David Pastrnak recorded his 25th of the season and 57th of the caldendar year to put him up with Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews among the league's best goal scorers.

Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand also scored for the Bruins.

But Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen certainly outplayed Jeremy Swayman in net, which proved to be the difference.

Buffalo's goals came from Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch (including the OT winner) and Dylan Cozens.

Up next: Monday's Winter Classic against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park.
