The Atlanta Falcons re-established their identity with a 24-15 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. Host Aaron Freeman breaks down how the Jessie Bates-led defense's dominance in the red zone and the Bijan Robinson-led ground game helped lift the team over their hated rival. He also breaks down quarterback Desmond Ridder's return to the lineup and why despite a few mistakes, it was a step in the right direction for the young passer. He also breaks down if the Falcons will ever look like a well-oiled machine or continue to look erratic with self-inflicted wounds the rest of the year.

The Atlanta Falcons intend to stick with quarterback Desmond Ridder for the remainder of the 2023 season. According to host Aaron Freeman and guest Charles McDonald (@YahooSports) that's a good thing since the team needs to find out if he's their guy long-term. Or else the team needs to be looking to upgrade this offseason.

They also discuss the solid framework for a good defense and if there's anything left to play for in 2023. Is making the playoffs worthwhile even if the Falcons will be thoroughly outclassed come January? Can rookie left guard Matthew Bergeron show more consistency down the stretch alongside Ridder? Charles also shares some pass-rushers he's hoping to see the Falcons draft early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Arthur Smith and the Atlanta Falcons took the bye week to reflect on where they are as an organization. The big decision, coming into the bye week, was who would be the starting quarterback against the New Orleans Saints, Desmond Ridder or Taylor Heinicke. Tenitra Batiste, Tori McElhaney, Aaron Freeman and Jarvis Davis took time to reflect as well on the second half of the 2023 season. Secondly, Smith named Desmond Ridder the starter for the rest of the season barring a catastrophic injury. The team took time to talk about whether or not it was the right decision to go with Ridder in that light. Also, they discussed Smith and Terry Fontenot getting the biggest question answered as to who will be the starting quarterback going forward and not just this season. Lastly, they wrapped things up by talking about what they will be thankful for after the Falcons take on the New Orleans Saints. Also, they discussed what has to go for Thanksgiving dinner.
