Today, Charlie O’Connor joins the podcast to discuss the Flyers many moves made this week, from good moves like adding Ryan Ellis and Cam Atkinson to questionable risks like adding Ristolien and Jones. The Flyers are definitely a different team, Fletcher has checked off a lot off his offseason checklist, but what else is missing? Is Chuck Fletcher moving away from trusting the kids and should that be a red flag? Of course, Danielle and Rachel wrap up the week with some Gritty!

Free Agent Frenzy definitely lived up to it's name yesterday! Rachel & Danielle break down the Martin Jones & Nate Thompson signings (Keith Yandle was covered on Wednesday's show), then look at what could have been on the goaltending front with a review of the goalie carousel around the league. Who do we think the Flyers could or should have signed at the deals they eventually got? Finally we review other big signings around the league.

Flyers Fun Thing: It’s always good to see a familiar face.

We have a jam packed episode for you today. This past weekend the Flyers made a lot of moves, adding energy guys Rasmus Ristolainen and Cam Atkinson, moving Voracek and a ton of future picks. Danielle and Rachel discuss the good and the bad of these moves, as well as GM Chuck Fletcher’s reasoning for them. In addition to trying to get better now, the Flyers also drafted six new prospects in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. They discuss the new prospects: who is a project, who was a surprise and who could be on the Flyers soon.
