Marcus Stroman took the mound for the New York Mets last night for what could be one of the last times, as the 30-year-old is set to hit free agency this winter. Is Stroman going to get the contract he expects in free agency, paying him at least $25 million over a long-term deal?

If Stroman is going to get that big of a contract, will the Mets be the time to give it to him, or should they look elsewhere on the market?

Also with Noah Syndergaard set to hit free agency, do the Mets have it in the budget to bring back both of their star starting pitchers?

The New York Mets once again find themselves in the headlines based on tweets from Steve Cohen, as the team owner contradicted an article from the New York Post on Thursday.

Are Cohen's antics on Twitter becoming too much of an unnecessary distraction for the Mets?

Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses this and whether Cohen was right for going after Mike Puma and his "Former Executive" source on Thursday.

The New York Mets were swept by the St. Louis Cardinals last night, getting blown out once again on their home turf. Are the Mets playoff hopes a thing of the past?

Also we catch up on the latest rumblings when it comes to the front office search this offseason, as Sandy Alderson will be back to help Steve Cohen hire the next President of Baseball Operations. Can they get it right the second time around?

Everyone who the New York Mets are chasing in the playoff race lost on Tuesday night, but unfortunately they could not capitalize, dropping another to the St. Louis Cardinals. Host Ryan Finkelstein was at the game and shares his experience of watching the agonizing loss in person.

Javier Baez gave the Mets fleeting hope late in that game, sending it to extras with a home run in the ninth. Ryan revisits his comparison to Yoenis Cespedes from yesterday's show and whether the Mets could look to sign Baez to similar three-year, $75 million deal with an opt-out this offseason.

Finally, after another rough game from Jeff McNeil, is his position in the starting lineup still set in stone for next season?

Would it be crazy to say that Javier Báez is having a comparable season as a trade deadline acquisition as Yoenis Cespedes in 2015? You may be surprised how close the numbers actually are for the two sluggers.

Host Ryan Finkelstein compares the two and how team success can change the narrative for a player when they are winning, or in Báez's case, when they are losing.

Speaking of losing, the New York Mets dropped another game on Monday, falling to the St. Louis Cardinals 7-0. What lies ahead for the Mets over the next week, as they cling to fleeting playoff hopes?
