The NFL's offseason is coming to a close in a few weeks and that makes it the perfect time to evaluate the few months for every team. It is hard to ignore how fantastic of a stretch the Los Angeles Rams have had after acquiring Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, but not every team that got a high grade in a recent piece from NFL.com is obvious. The Cleveland Browns, along with other lowly teams, got high grades they are hoping spin into more wins in the near future. Not all the grades were high though as teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks sat at the bottom of the rankings.

Finding the quarterback can often be the hardest part about building a contending, but there are a few teams in the NFL that truly just need their leader and they are ready to be real contenders. First, the Pittsburgh Steelers immediately come to mind with their talented roster and superstar talent. The Atlanta Falcons have to come next though because they have been wasting talent with subpar QBs and coaches for many years. Kyler Murray is hoping to be that answer for the Minnesota Vikings as well. A few teams aren't as obvious like the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. Some of the worst teams in the league, yes, but look closer and you can see a budding roster of talent waiting for a proper passer. Finally, two playoff teams from last year, the Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers, are wondering if they actually have their passer or if their playoff-caliber rosters need a new face of the franchise.

The Denver Broncos would have gone to the Super Bowl if Bo Nix didn't get injured the prior week and now the Broncos have had a good offseason including a blockbuster trade for Jaylen Waddle. Somehow though, folks around the NFL still underrate them. In a recent roster ranking from Mike Clay, the Broncos came in 8th. That is a disrespectful ranking. Especially when a team like the Detroit Lions is ranked ahead with the holes they have at many spots. The Philadelphia Eagles also may be ranked too high while a team like the San Francisco 49ers continues to be rated too low as well. Further down the list, the Pittsburgh Steelers sit only one spot ahead of the Indianapolis Colts and that is hard to fathom with how solid the Steelers are built and how the Colts roster talent fell these last few months. The Atlanta Falcons also are a team with a lot more talent than they get credit for because their quarterback situation is less than ideal.

The New England Patriots made one of the most explosive moves of the NFL offseason when they acquired AJ Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles and now with Drake Maye tossing him the ball, we could see some fireworks all season long. Staying in the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills are always good for some highlights and excitement with Josh Allen leading the helm. The team that beat the Buffalo Bills last year, the Denver Broncos, also made a big addition in Jaylen Waddle. That offense could be incredible if Bo Nix can stay healthy. The Jacksonville Jaguars were an exciting watch in 2025 and with a healthy Travis Hunter joining a stacked wide receiver room, it could get even better. Two teams looking to take the next step are the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers. With great offensive play caller and talent quarterbacks, these two squads could be some of the most fun to watch this upcoming season. Finally, a few teams looking to get out of the basement and into the playoffs should be fun to watch no matter whether they succeed or not. The New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans should be some of the more interesting teams in the NFL.
