Manny Machado is putting up MVP numbers for the last-place Orioles. Usually playing for a losing team keeps a player from taking home the award -- but Machado's case in a bit out of the ordinary.
What if the 25-year-old shortstop is traded mid-season and helps his new team land a playoff spot? Andrew Stetka of MASNSports.com ponders the question of what could happen in that case.
Plus, Stetka and host Justin McGuire talk about the team's broadcasters.

Kevin Gausman has been overshadowed by Dylan Bundy this year, but the 27-year-old has quietly emerged as the most consistent starter on the Orioles staff.
Tyler Young of Camden Chat returns to the podcast to talk about what Gausman has done well this year as he finally starts to live up to his enormous potential.
Young and host Justin McGuire also discuss Bundy and ponder why Chris Tillman is still an Oriole.

The Orioles are staring into an abyss in 2019 and beyond. So says our guest for this episode, Camden Depot editor Jon Shepherd.
Shepherd says the uncertainty begins in the front office, where Dan Duquette's days in charge are almost certainly coming to an end. The O's also have to decide what role, if any, Buck Showalter will have going forward. And what about Brady Anderson?
The only thing is certain is that the Orioles are going to have to make some changes if they expect to get back to winning in the future.

In a year of darkness, Richard Bleier has been a ray of sunshine for the Orioles. The 31-year-old, who toiled in the minors for nine years, has put up eye-popping numbers despite not being a strikeout pitcher.
Kyle Andrews, who covers the team for FOX Sports Radio 1340, joins us to discuss Bleier's extraordinary season so far. Also, Andrews and host Justin McGuire try to find other bright spots in this dismal season.

The Orioles are terrible and there is every reason to believe they will go on being terrible. So why should fans keep watching?
Jason Foster of Sporting News and host Justin McGuire talk about the pain of following a bad team and make some suggestions about things to keep an eye on this season, including Dylan Bundy, Richard Bleier and prospects like Austin Hays.

The reeling Baltimore Orioles have several important decisions to make over the next several months -- decisions that will effect the franchise for years to come.
Randy DeCleene of Camden Chat says it makes no sense for the Orioles to leave Dan Duquette and Buck Showalter in limbo as they face those decisions. The team must either extend the contracts of Duquette and Showalter -- or let both of them go, DeCleene says.

Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is out for the season because of Tommy John surgery. Does that mean Los Angeles will be in the hunt for Manny Machado should the Orioles decide to make him available?
Don't count on it, says Jay Jaffe of FanGraphs. The Dodgers almost certainly won't be willing to give up the blue-chip prospects necessary to land Machado. And Jaffe says there are several other reasons Los Angeles won't want to make a deal.

The Orioles came close to trading Manny Machado to the Cubs for Addison Russell and Mike Montgomery this offseason. With the O's horrendous start, the possibility of a deal with Chicago has been given new life.
Evan Altman of CubsInsider.com joins us to explain why a Machado deal would make sense for the North Siders. The question remains, though: Would it make sense for the Orioles?

Adam Jones has been the face of the Orioles for a decade. He is beloved in Baltimore and has always represented the city and team with class and dignity.
Nonetheless, it is time for the Orioles to part ways with the five-time All-Star, argues our guest, Paul Valle of Eutaw Street Report. Valle says the O's should deal Jones while making every effort to re-sign Manny Machado.

The 2018 Orioles are shaping up to be one of the worst teams in Baltimore history. That's no fun.
Instead of wallowing in misery, let's take a look back at the best team in O's history. The 1970 O's won 108 games and took the American League East by 15 games. After that, they went 7-1 in the postseason to earn their second World Series title.
Author Mark Armour joins us to discuss that glorious season and more.
