The Red Sox ended their 7-Game Road losing streak with a 7-1 win over the Yankees Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.  With the win, the Red Sox avoid falling to a game below .500.  The season series between the Red Sox and Yankees is now even at 6-6 with 1 more game to go. The Red Sox win on Saturday also ended a 4-Game losing streak against the Yankees.

Bello's Day in the Bronx: Brayan Bello worked into the 6th Inning in his start on Saturday.  Bello gave up just 1 run in his outing and picked up his team-leading 14th win of the season.  Sox are now 8-2 over his last 8 outings and 19-9 in his 28 starts.

Odd Move: Yankees got on the board in the Bottom of the 3rd on an RBI Single from Gleyber Torres. Red Sox went in front with 3 runs in the Top of the 4th against Gerrit Cole.  The Red Sox rally started with Cole issuing an intentional walk to Rafael Devers with 1 out and the bases empty.  Devers stole 2nd and scored on an RBI Double from Masataka Yoshida.  Wilyer Abreu followed with a 2-run Single that gave the Sox their 1st lead of the game.

That's Baseball:  Devers then came to the plate with the bases full in the 5th against Cole and he knocked in 2 runs with a Single and that put the Red Sox up, 5-1.  Devers now has 14 career hits & 20 career RBIs vs. Cole.  Sox added on and went up, 7-1, on a 2-run Single from Yoshida and that would be all for Cole (4.1 IP/7 ER).

Promotions & Demotions: The Red Sox promoted LHP Bailey Horn from Triple-A Worcester on Saturday.  The Sox also added LHP Zack Penrod to the 40-Man Roster and brought him up from Worcester.  Tyler Heineman was Designated for Assignment and take off the 40-Man roster.  Zack Kelly and Cam Booser were both sent down to Worcester after Friday's game.

MLB Debut: Penrod, 27, entered in the 8th for his Major League debut.  Penrod entered with 1 on and no one out and he struck out Austin Wells for his 1st big league out and strikeout.  He then struck out Jazz Chisholm, issued a 2-out walk, and got Anthony Rizzo on a Pop Up for the final out of the 8th.    Penrod is the 11th player to make his MLB debut and 9th to debut at 26-years-old or older.

A Look Ahead: The Red Sox and Yankees play for the final time in the Regular Season Sunday in the Bronx.  The Red Sox have an off day on Monday and open up a 3-Game Series against the Rays in St. Pete, Florida Tuesday night.
