The Texas Rangers had 2 big innings against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox bullpen and evened up the Series at 1-1 with a 7-4 victory Saturday night in Arlington. Rob Refsnyder went 4-for-4 with a Double, 2 solo Home Runs, a walk, and 3 RBIs. Houck took the loss.

Leaving 'Em Loaded: Red Sox left the bases loaded in the 4th inning against starter Cody Bradford. Sox left the bases loaded again in the 8th when Kirby Yates struck out Jarren Duran to end the inning. Red Sox left 10 runners on base and went 3-for-11 with Runners In Scoring Position.

On the Board 1st: Rob Refsnyder smacked his 6th Home Run of the season with 1 out in the first inning and that got the Red Sox on the board 1st against Cody Bradford and the Rangers. Refsnyder made it 2-0 with his 2nd Home Run of the game and 7th of the year in the 4th Inning. It's his 1st career 2 Home Run game. Refsnyder has now hit 20 Home Runs at the Big-League level off of 18 different pitchers. Rafael Devers reached with a Double and scored on an RBI Single from Connor Wong to give the Red Sox a 3-0 lead.

Lead Disappeared: Rangers tied the game at 3-3 in the home 4th on a 2-out, 3-run Home Run from Jonah Heim. The next hitter Leody Taveras made it 4-3 with his 2nd Home Run of the Series.

Houck's Night in Arlington: Tanner Houck made the start Saturday night. Houck struck out the side in the 2nd inning. He allowed a walk and a single in the 3rd but came back and struck out Corey Seager and Marcus Semien to end the inning. Houck won the battle with Semien by striking him out on the 13th pitch of the at-bat. He gave up the lead by allowing the 2 Home Runs (both with 2 outs) in the 4th inning. Houck has allowed 8 Home Runs this season. Houck exited after allowing hits to the 1st 3 batters to start the 6th inning. He was charged with 2 of the 3 runs in the inning. Houck is 8-8 with the loss and his ERA is now over 3 at 3.09. #89's Final Line- 5.0+ IP. 8 H. 6 R. 6 ER. 2 Walks. 7 Strikeouts. 2 Home Runs allowed.
