A night after collecting 12 runs on 15 hits, the Red Sox bats were held in check for the most part, and it resulted in a 5-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles in the middle game of the 3-Game set at Fenway Park Tuesday night.  The Sox are 3-2 on their current Homestand with 1 more to go Wednesday night against the Orioles.

Kutter's Night: Kutter Crawford went 6.1 innings and took the loss against the Orioles Tuesday night.  Crawford gave up 2 home runs and both to Cedric Mullins.  He got the Orioles on the board with a solo Home Run in the 1st inning.  Mullins made it 3-0 with a 2-run shot off Crawford in the 3rd Inning.  Crawford has now allowed 31 Home Runs in his 30 starts this season and 23 have come with no one on base.  Crawford picked up a strike out in the 7th Inning before his night came to an end and he left with the Sox trailing, 3-1.  The Sox are now 9-21 in Crawford's 31 starts this season.

2-Out Damage: Orioles added on after Crawford departed in the 7th Inning.  Brennan Bernardino left with the bases loaded and he was charged with 2 runs in the inning after Luis Guerrero gave up a 2-out, 2-run Single to Adley Rutschman which made it 5-1.

Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board in the Bottom of the 4th Inning against Orioles starting pitcher Albert Suarez.  Connor Wong reached with a 2-out Double and scored on a Double from Triston Casas.  Sox got closer with 2 runs in the 8th Inning.  Masa Yoshida Doubled in a run and the 2nd run scored with Tyler O'Neill scoring on a Balk.  Sox have scored 3 runs or less in 10 of their last 13 Games.

Don't Want to See Him Again: Tyler O'Neill went 0-for-3 with 3 strikeouts against Suarez Tuesday night.  O'Neill has struck out 6 times in his 6 career at-bats against Suarez.  O'Neill walked in the 8th inning to keep the inning alive and ended up scoring to make it a 2-run Game.

A Look Ahead: The Red Sox have 1 more game against the Orioles and 17 games remaining on the Regular Season schedule.  The Red Sox open up a 7-Game Road Trip with the 1st of 4 against the Yankees Thursday night in the Bronx.
