MLB Debut: Chase Shugart made his MLB Debut when he entered the game out of the Red Sox bullpen in the 6th Inning. Shugart retired both hitters that he faced and struck out Jackson Holliday for his 1st strikeout in the Bigs. Shugart gave up a run in the 7th and worked a scoreless 8th Inning. Shugart, 27, was drafted in the 12th round out of the University of Texas in 2018. The former Longhorn was with Triple-A Worcester in 2023 and again this season.
