The Red Sox dropped their 2nd straight to the Arizona Diamondbacks, losing 4-1, at Fenway Park Saturday afternoon.  The Red Sox avoided being shutout with Masa Yoshida knocking in the Sox only run with an RBI Double in the 9th Inning.  Zac Gallen gave up just 2 singles and struck out 9 hitters over 6 Scoreless Innings for the Diamondbacks and he notched his 10th win of the season.

No Home Cooking: The Sox have lost 6 of their last 8 at Fenway and are 5 Under .500 at Home (29-33) for the 6th time this season.

Lost Series: With Saturday's loss, the Red Sox lost their 2nd Series in their last 8 Series, both at Fenway (swept by Houston).  The Sox need to win Sunday in the series finale to avoid being swept for the 5th time this season and 3rd time at Fenway.

Tough Day at the Dish: The Red Sox were held to 5 hits by Gallen and 3 Arizona relievers.  Sox hitters struck out 13 times with Tristan Casas going 0-for-4 with 4 strikeouts.

Kutter's Day: Kutter Crawford matched Zero's with Zac Gallen thru the 1st 3 Innings.  Diamondbacks got on the board in the 4th Inning with Eugenio Suarez hitting a 2-out, 2-run Double off the Green Monster.  Suarez has collected 7 RBIs in the 1st 2 Games of the Series. Crawford took the loss and is now 8-11.

Out of the Pen: Zack Kelly was the 1st out of the Pen for the Red Sox Saturday.  Kelly worked a 1-2-3 6th Inning with a groundout, strikeout and pop up.  Kelly has worked 4 straight scoreless outings.

Too Many Free Passes:  Relivers Lucas Sims and Brennan Bernardino combined to allow 4 walks in the 7th Inning and the D-Backs pushed across 2 runs without the benefit of a base hit.  Bernardino walked Jake McCarthy with the bases loaded and the 2nd run of the inning scored on a wild pitch.
