In today’s episode of The Art of Passive Income—Round Table edition, Mark is joined by:
Today’s topics:
The last topic is, BOOTCAMP—Why do they keep coming back? There are many in the community that have attended multiple Land Geek Bootcamps. The guys go over their own experiences and what keeps them coming back for more.
All can agree that the connections you make with the community there, make it feel more like a family reunion.
Mike—When you surround yourself with successful, like-minded people, it helps you grow.
Tate—Every time I go I come away with a new approach or tidbit. Plus being around people who are motivated helps me stay motivated and focused. When I leave, I am fired up and ready to go, it’s like a recharge… plus it’s fun!
Mark sums it up in a few words—It’s small and intimate with a lot of teaching and quality, and NO FLUFF!
TIP OF THE WEEKMark: Check out the site Barter.com.
Scott: Check out the book, Quitter: Closing the Gap Between Your Day Job & Your Dream Job by Jon Acuff. It's the Author's story about how he embraced the world of being a quitter. Also, check out his other book, Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done. It's about getting it done so you can refine it and make it better. It doesn't have to be perfect.
Erik: Check out Asktrim.com—a Facebook bot that allows you to automate opportunities and save money.
Tate: Check out Unroll.me to find and unsubscribe from websites.
Mike: "Silence isn't empty, it's full of answers" There are times you get involved in one task where you just start digging in and it's not working, you have to step away, get a cup of coffee, get some quiet time. Then just think about what's going on as you start to relax away from that scenario and you focus on a task and how it would fit bigger into a system. Create that space, and allow that answer to come to you that you're looking for. Don't just keep drilling.
Isn't it time to create passive income so you can work where you want, when you want and with whomever you want?
