On February 16, 2022, 33-year-old Jared Bridegan was gunned down while his two-year-old daughter watched in horror from the backseat of their car. Shanti Cooper fell in love with David Tronnes after meeting in 2013 on Match.com. After a whirlwind romance, David and Shanti moved in together. First into a rented house and later into a beautiful, historic home in Orlando, Florida that David had purchased. Mica was estranged from her controversial pastor husband, John-Paul Miller, and had recently filed for divorce. On the night of May 19, 1983, Diane Downs and her three children, Christie, 8, Cheryl, 7, and Danny, 3, were shot on a rural road outside of Springfield, Oregon. Cheryl died from her injuries. Christie and Danny were gravely injured. Diane suffered non-life threatening wounds to her left arm. She claimed a bushy-haired stranger had shot them. A man-hunt came up empty for the shooter.
