Luke on 2CC – Setting financial goals for 2026

Measure your expectations and then take action that is sustainable.

Knee jerk changes don’t work in the medium and longer term, so don’t try and do too much too quickly.

What have you got coming in, what have you got going out – understand where your money is going.

Look at your results on quarterly basis – not monthly, give yourself time to work towards the bigger goals.

Beware of social media – it’s a highlight reel of people’s life, you don’t actually know how they pay for it!

Micro investing apps are a great way to start investing and you don’t need much to start.

Work with your partner, if you’ve had one, get on the same page and do it together, it’s easier with you both going in the same direction.

Work towards your goals at a pace that works for you.

Removing the waste and the clutter – is a great way to also make a few dollars by selling what you don’t need.

Think about how automation can help you reach your goals, like setting up a savings plan or investment with regular contributions.
