Born in Germany, Maarten Baas is a Dutch furniture designer whose work straddles the worlds of art and design. After studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, his graduate exhibition was discovered by Moooi, which served as something of a catalyst for his career. His work has been collected by institutions around the world, including Melbourne’s NGV. He joins Suzy Annetta to discuss how his career came about as well as his approach to life and work.
