Macabre London

The town of Centralia in Pennsylvania has been on fire for the past 60 years! An underground network of mines was accidentally set fire to after firefighters decided to solve the towns trash problem by setting it alight. Two weeks later, the ground was still smouldering and it wasn't long before the earth beneath the gentile community led town, was set ablaze seemingly forever putting its residents at severe risk.

Fast forward a few decades and the town became the inspiration for the Silent Hill horror franchise but not many people realise that this tiny town is actually real!

England in the 14th century was in crisis. 

Famine had torn through the country in the first half of the century & extreme weather had battered the residents' properties, ports and farms causing widespread damage, taking years to recover from. 

The black death had swept over the world killing an estimated 25 million people globally and half of England's population overall.

A poll tax was the final straw for the working people and contempt for the monarchy and the law makers began bubbling under the surface.

When the king died and his 10 year old son took to the throne, the peasants knew what they had to do in order to convince the young boy that things needed to change. 

However, this wouldn’t be a peaceful process, they wanted blood.

When the king died and his 10 year old son took to the throne, the peasants knew what they had to do in order to convince the young boy that things needed to change.

The only way to get what they wanted was to show their strength in numbers and march to London. However, this wouldn’t be a peaceful process, they wanted blood.

Australians decided they've had enough of cats! Don't be too worried though, this isn't a complete ban but more in order to protect the national wildlife that's suffering as a result of feral cats. We explore how the authorities are coping (and in some cases, not coping) with the feral cat population and what that means for the domestic moggy.

Story 2:

Two domestic pigs decided to take over a golf course in Yorkshire for two days and then mysteriously dissapeared. The regulars to the course thought they'd left but when they came back a few days later...it got much worse!!

Ever wonder what Stonehenge is made from? The clue is in the title...but someone else has decided to make it from Spam.
